Messaged on a Sunday to several businesses to help mount two large 85" TVs. They responded within 5…read moremin and were able to coordinate a tech to come out same day. The tech showed up on time with all the appropriate tools. He was very respectful and friendly. You could tell that he had a ton of experience with various potential hiccups that come up with this type of job and made some really good recommendations about placement etc. He was in and out in about 30 min and everything looks and works amazing. If you need a large TV (or 2) hung the right way, don't want to worry about them falling, damaging your walls, or you are like me and value having someone do something in 30 min that would have taken me all day, several f-bombs and potentially a divorce, definitely call Tech Next Door. Well worth it.

Beware of The Nashville Handyman - Unlicensed and Costly Mistakes…read moreI hired The Nashville Handyman, owned by Chad Weideman, expecting professional service, but instead, I ended up with severe property damage and thousands of dollars in unexpected repairs. His crew used a mechanical trenching machine that broke my sewer line, and rather than informing me, they covered it up with bricks, gravel, and dirt, leading to major plumbing failures over time. Upon further investigation, I discovered that The Nashville Handyman is not licensed to perform this type of work, which is illegal in Tennessee under T.C.A. § 62-6-503. The law states that unlicensed contractors may be held liable for treble damages--triple the actual repair costs. Even after being presented with undeniable evidence, they refused to fully take responsibility for the damages they caused. If you care about your home and finances, avoid this company. Always hire a licensed and reputable contractor instead.

Availability was amazing I was thinking a few days out boom next day considering I contacted them late in the day! There was confirmation of my appointment which is always needed since well I forget everything! Communication via text which let's face it makes everyone's life easier! Day of appointment 2 gentleman and 1 lady show up AWESOME she's in training GIRLPOWER - I could end here but there's more! They were super nice and ready to work (also Covid prepared all had masks on which I 1000000% appreciated). Came in I let them know that I am NOT tech savvy at all (let's face it I call a tech to plug the red cord in the red slot) I let them know of my OCD if items weren't centralized and about an hour later boom two perfectly installed TVs that look amazing. The cost AMAZING! Like how I've had TVs installed before and let's just say if everything else didn't already make me a loyal customer the cost sealed the deal! So happy with the service, results and this company overall! 10 Yelp Stars - but you know you'll only see five on the posts
