My first experience with this office was in 2016. I was a patient of Dr. Saddiq's. I saw him…read moremonthly for many years I was very happy with the practice. I felt well cared for. In August 2022 I was in a major car accident. I spent a year in hospitals, acute care facilities, surgeries, and finally a nursing home to recover. In August 2023 I was discharged from the nursing home. I assumed that I would go back to my wonderful doctor Saddiq. However, when I tried to make an appointment, I was informed by his Office manager (wife) that my physician no longer wanted to be my physician and that they had a staff meeting about me to make this decision. Evidently they felt my case was too complicated for the physician to handle. This left me in a very confused and upset position as I was now being discharged from the nursing home with no trusted physician to care for me outpatient. I have now been home a year. The transition has been exceedingly difficult because instead of working with a trusted physician who I knew well, I have had to use the nursing home physician who practices 3 cities away from where I live. Not a great time to be shopping around for a long term physitian and specialists. This has been a profound challenge, adjusting to being home as a new paraplegic who needs continued care. I have tried talking with the office staff at this office to see if we could mediate whatever the concerns were that they had. I have felt like the treatment from their front office and the silence from Dr. Saddiq himself has been less than kind this last year. I thought long and hard before writing this review, but in light of the way that I have been treated in the last attempts to discuss this with them I came to the conclusion that this review is long overdue. I find myself wondering what happened to the wonderful physician that I used to work with in this office? What did I do wrong? In full disclosure, I would've been a bit of a project when I first came out of the nursing home. I need orders for durable medical equipment, changes in medication, help withdrawing from pain meds. And home health care. I did it all successfully alone. And in May of this year I weaned myself off pain meds with no help from doctors. While I wish no ill will on this staff and I forgive them, I still feel hurt that I was left to fend for myself, deal w a broken Insurance and medical system and lost a great doctor I trusted as I recovered.

Great staff and doctors. Never have held me for extended time in the waiting room. Have gone the…read moreextra mile to help me with out of the norm situations.

So, I was doing something I probably should not be doing at my age anymore (or at the very least,…read morebeing a lot more cautious, LOL!!). Went sledding with kiddos over the last winter break. My elbow must have hit a rock or something else jutting out of the snow on the way down one of the runs. Fast forward to almost four months later and I'm still having pain! I start thinking, maybe I should get this checked out and make sure I don't have a fracture or something. I've never seen an orthopedic doctor in my life--so wasn't sure what to expect. I saw another doctor in this office (Dr. Bouz). He is a straight shooter kind of guy (which is fine with me). The office has the ability to do Xrays internally so there is no need to wait to get them done or for results. The technician who took the pictures for me was a joyful person who I could tell really loves his job. The receptionist was super helpful, patient, and kind from the time of booking the appointment until I left. All around great office visit where I got the answers I needed and in a very efficient manner. I hope to not have to come to this office again for any reason, but if I do, it's nice to know there is a solid choice so nearby. :-)

I was trying to tell him what happened to me in two accidents and which body parts were hurt in those accidents. That's how insurance companies think - per event and which body parts were involved in the date of injury. He kept wanting to go over it by body part. I sort of get that, but come ON! Try listening when a patient is taking to you. "OK, What happened that day? What body parts were hurt? were any hurt on both days?" Any moron should get it. But that's the problem with orthopedic surgeons, they all have a god complex. They want to cut and sew you back together so they can congratulate themselves on their handiwork. I walked out and went back to my general practitioner. That was a probably a mistake on some levels. I might have been able to get MRIs and cortisone shots sooner. I can't help but think that good bedside manner is important. "Ma'am, I can see you're upset. Do your best to tell me what happened so I can treat you." Unfortunately, social skills are often an afterthought rather than millions they are going to make as doctors. My grandfather was a family practitioner and he was nice to everyone. He saved people's lives. And if you couldn't pay, he would treat you anyway. Those days are over.
