We paid to have 5 doors, door frames and Architraves fitted and he told us that it would be a 2 day job and everything would be complete. Day 1 - turns ups late and only for a couple of hours, rips the existing out, damages all the plaster and dumps the waste on my drive way, blocking my garage door. He doesn't even have a van so I had to spend a day taking it all to the skip in my car. Day 2 - didn't turn up because his 'car broke down'. Day 3 - turns up late again and only for a couple of hours. He fitted the door frames, doors and a few Architraves, cock up the bathroom lock, didn't fit a lock to the bedroom as requested and I have to say at this point that it's the worst workmanship I've seen. My mum could cut better mitres than him with a bread knife. He then pressured my wife into paying almost the full balance whilst I was in work and he said he would be back to finish the following day. Day 4 - no sign of him, finally get in touch with him and he's now in hospital with a 'brain tumor' and won't be able to work again until after Xmas. That's a sad story but if you get a friend to call him off a different phone number he is fit and well, taking on new work and looking for his next victim. All in all, the guy is a disgrace and having given him £600 I have to buy new materials and spend the next few weekends sorting out the mess he's made.

It would need to be installed in the original housing which was 15 years old. Therefore the old one needed removing immediately so that the delivery vehicle could collect it. The job was very important to us. From TMR joinery's point of view, it was complex but offered little profit. He came promptly and removed the old appliance which was very heavy. After the delivery of the new appliance, he returned promptly at the time arranged and fitted it into the original housing. This was not without its difficulties which he overcame one by one.
