It was close to closing time when I called but decided to give it a shot as I needed a door installed ASAP. To my surprise, Dorian answered the phone. I let him know what I needed and he even came that same night after hours to do a consultation. Once he assessed, and understood the urgency he sent a quote that night, and made an appt that same week to install the door/door frame. He sent me all my options and picked everything up at Home Depot for me so I didn't have to move a finger. Dorian answered texts promptly, was very careful with his work, and kept me updated throughout the day on progress/issues he found when installing my door. While he was working he listened to my needs and customized the door to what I needed. At the end of the job he even offered to fix some messed up door locks in the house that my sister mentioned weren't working properly, free of charge. Everything was a seamless process from start to finish. You can tell Dorian takes pride in his work and it shows. I would highly recommend Dorian and the Handyman team for your needs. Now I have a handyman that I will only be using in Fairfield CT.

He has painted the exterior of our home and garage twice, and has done many other interior and exterior jobs for us, large and small. Somehow Jeff continues to find high quality people to work for him. No matter when we think the project is finished, Jeff and his guys continue to ask "is there anything else you need or want us to do?" He is probably not the cheapest guy on the block, but the quality of his work is worth his very competitive prices. He also has access to competent sub-contractors to do home repairs, or other additional services required outside of the painting contract. We have had a few unexpected situations where we had to call Jeff back to redo something. He has always called back promptly and fixes whatever is needed. We recommend Jeff Bousquet Painting and Home Improvement without hesitation. We look forward to being in touch with him for any future services we might need. The Levines, Westport

He gave me a real estimate on the phone, not mumbo-jumbo like some of the services advertised in Val-Pak mailers. The service was good overall but it did not finish up quite like we were hoping. The initial…read moreproposal started great with Jeff coming to our home shortly after we reached out. The estimate for painting three rooms upstairs in our house was very detailed, seemed fair priced, and he was friendly and easy to work with and was great at answering our follow-up questions before starting our project. We were able to book the project on the timeline we were looking for, but we were disappointed that the pre-project meeting never happened, as the proposal had said it would. This meant that the crew leader had some outstanding questions for us on the day they started the project, and though easily resolved, would have been nice to discuss beforehand. Where we were disappointed was at the very end when the crew had packed everything up and was ready to head out, we were handed a "report card" of their work to score how they did on various aspects of the job. While we were happy to fill out the document, the walls were still wet with paint when we were asked to score and it was a bit awkward to have the crew leader waiting in the house for us to fill out the sheet. I was hoping we could have time to walk through the area once the paint was dry and take a close look at everything together (my husband and I but he was keeping our two young kids happily distracted at the time), but were told we couldn't mail it in or send it in at another time and had to get done now. It felt rushed and uncomfortable since the crew was waiting on us for them to complete their day, and I didn't look at everything as closely as I would have liked with the work being wet. The next day we went upstairs (where our work was done) to take a closer look and we ended up finding two areas that were missed for painting and some small stray paint splatter on the floor and windows that I missed before. Had I seen this when filling out their report card I would have changed their score on Quality from an A rating to a B+ for them. Juan and his team were punctual, polite, and efficient at getting the work done but if I had a suggestion for improvement, it would be to let the homeowners complete your report card on THEIR time, once everything is totally finished (and dry), as it makes for a very rushed experience at the end.

Not only that but in the one message they left us, we were told they had time to come by tomorrow and see the problem, and to call to arrange. Great! Not. Well not only did they not answer, nor return our call about setting something up for that next day, as they had offered, but we were simply left just hanging ... a week LATER and they still never even got back to us. SMH. Any reputable contractor would/could have taken 10 seconds to reach out EVEN if it were just to say, you know we apologize but it turns out we are jammed (or down an employee or whatever other reason) ... but for this firm be as inconsiderate and irresponsible as this is kinda shocking, not to mention plain bad business in our local area.
