Gordon and John came to our house to look at my back door. Gordon responded to my message right away which lets me know that he is professional. John, was his "door guy" and he was very knowledgeable about types of doors and took a look at my door and knew right away what needed to be done. The process to get my door replaced was straight forward, I paid for my door then when my door came, we set up an appointment to get it done. It took about a week and 3 days. The day John replaced the door, he worked nonstop in cold degree weather from 10a-3:30p! I mean he never stopped moving. I'm not even sure if he took a break to eat or drink. He fixed the frame of my door from Previous work that it had done, and even took the time to level it and raise it so that I don't get water in my house. I could tell that he took great pride in his job and I appreciate that he took the time to get the job done, did not rush it. The amount of time he took to customize my back door was very much appreciated. John simply said "This is just how we do our jobs" and I believe him! He seems to truly love and take pride in his work. I interviewed a number of contractors for our porch replacement project, and spoke with references. I have to admit I was a touch skeptical of the absolutely glowing reviews I heard from his references at first. (Were they family members? Would anyone give *my* work such glowing reviews other than my mom?) But after seeing him in action, I absolutely echo all those raves: Ryan is the gold standard. He is fantastically professional, meticulous, and detail oriented; he communicates clearly; and his pricing is on par with other contractors in the area. He says what he means and means what he says. We only have one porch on this house, alas, but Ryan is also an electrician and handyman.
