Afterwards, they cleaned everything up. I also had some extra garbage due to the leaking roof and they took all of that away for me at no extra charge. These guys were very polite and professional. Our experience with Harris Plumbing has been extremely UNSATISFACTORY. If I could rate it with zero…read morestars I would. The experience was, at first, promising, at least when they were "selling" us on their services. When it came to execution (draining the water system at a cottage and turning it back on in the spring) there were mistakes made and much frustration experienced by us. Worst of all, and most unforgiveable, has been their refusal to accept any responsibility for damage caused. We were overcharged for services for which we had received a firm quote, then we were told that a tap had to be replaced (at $800+) when there was nothing wrong with the tap. Another tap, damaged due to poor system draining, they declined to repair or replace unless we paid $400 (I replaced the tap for $76.99). The list goes on. Our attempts to communicate our frustration with the president of the company were unsuccessful; instead were met with more refusals to accept responsibility. Finding a good plumber in cottage country is difficult; keep looking, this isn't it.
