I wanted to do the capacitor replacements myself, and they let me know what I needed to do to accomplish those tasks. I'd say 90% of my HVAC tune-ups do not give me the actual spec vs out-of-spec notes for wear & tear items like capacitors. Affordable Heat and Air signed off that it was in working condition and had been cleaned, and the receipt was provided to us by the seller. I just had someone out to double check for my peace of mind. There are problems galore. The exhaust is popping off as the furnace runs, which is an immediate safety issue. Cracked distribution box. Multiple leaks. This is not a difference of opinion. This is negligence.
