I live in a very well to do neighborhood and unfortunately, these guys will look up house values and charge accordingly so while some neighborhoods will get $10k decks, not mine. If I was living in DC suburbs then they'd charge us $50k for the deck. I got the PVC Aztek material with metal posts. The guys did the job in 2 days. I was worried when I saw scuffs on my new deck the day after install, but Luke came to buff them out. With Aztek, you have to be very careful about scratching the deck with furniture so I've yet to put anything on my deck! We rarely eat out there anyways. We're not outdoorsy people.

Horrible business owner…read more A month ago I called Honey Fix it to do a gate at my rental. I haven't heard anything and haven't gotten any follow up phone calls or anything. I called this morning merely to see when they would be coming out to check out the job and get an estimate. I was extremely nice and said " hi, I'm just following up to see when you will be coming out to give me an estimate for this job " the verbal response I got was that our job is a small job and she will get to it whenever she gets to it that she's currently backlogged with big jobs." I was like " oh, okay, I understand it's a small job I just wanted to follow up since I hadn't heard anything " she proceeds to say to me "I don't think you know who you're talking to, I am the owner and I'm doing the best that I can. My big jobs get priority and I will get to you when I get to you" I said "OK look im not sure why your getting an attitude with me, im sorry your having a bad morning, I'm NOT trying to get priority I'm just trying to get a timeframe that you can let me know. "Her response was look I can't deal with your high expectations maybe you should find somebody else." Is trying to get a timeframe from a contractor high expectations? Todd has good relationships and experience with a large variety of competent subcontractor's required to complete this project. Project tasks included: refinish hardwood floors, paint entire house walls(plaster/drywall/wallpaper)/trim/radiators, design/build fireplace mantle/hearth, install new bathroom/kitchen floors and vanities/sinks, carpet 2nd/3rd floors/stairs, drywall/paint ceiling/walls and fix leaks in the garage.
