Had to try this place out since I'm such a big sushi lover. Geisha Sushi was also literally 10…read moresteps from DREAM Hostel, where I stayed for a night. It's situated right in Old Town so it's the perfect place to grab a drink or lunch while exploring Warsaw.
I went in and was greeted immediately and seated. First glance at the menu, they seem to have abundant selection of sushi and food in general. There's sashimi, maki rolls, special rolls, chirashi bowls, to name a few. The very first thing I notice is that the menu also consist of images for most of the item, especially the sets, so you know what you're ordering.
As an American tourist, I try my best to keep my orders as simple as possible, although the staff did know some but not much English. The menu is in English/Polish.
The restaurant has a lot of seating and beautiful decor inside. There's a bar as soon as you walk with stools and booths to the left and right, as well as tables. It is a narrow restaurant so seating goes down straight down a line.
I went ahead and ordered the Mango Set (photo available in this review), and it is very fair for its price. Actually, the prices for all the food was reasonable, in fact, it could be cheaper than a lot of places (keeping in mind that I'm used to sushi prices in America).
It didn't take long for my food to come out and once it did, it was totally picture worthy. It was beautifully presented and fortunately, it tasted as good as it looked.
I only spent a night in Warsaw so I wasn't able to come back and try more items, but from what I experienced, I can say that I will recommend this sushi place to anyone in Old Town. Beautiful views out the window, friendly staff, great food, and just an overall good ambiance. Will definitely revisit if I ever come back to Poland!
