They did share bonchon, but it was not fully fermented, rather dressed for the most part making it not very authentic kimchi for what I experienced in Seoul. The ramen literally must have come from a packet, which is fine if they advertise it that way, but they made it seem like it would be a rich pepper broth. It was nothing of the sort, literally something you make in a pot with a bag. My partner got the bulgogi, and it sort of was bulgogi but it was more like beef stir fry, far far closer to cantonese in my experience than korean. We did stock up on soju at a somewhat reasonable price but the market mainly sold ramen. So two stars for a place you can buy ramen and soju but the food really didnt land for us.

Food quality: 5+ Seafood freshness: 5+…read morePrices: 5 Variety on menu: 5 Service: 4 Cleanliness: 4 Ambience: 3 Location: 3 Parking: 3 This seafood restaurant is a local favorite. You won't find many tourists here. You will find locals who know where to find the best seafood. It's not the fanciest place, and it is a little crowded, but the food is some of the best seafood ever. I was brought here by some local friends and was impressed with the variety on the menu. I ordered the shrimp with rice which had loads of large shrimp, cooked to perfection, served on a bed of well seasoned rice. I added a little of the habanero/bitter orange hot sauce and loved it. The portion was generous, the service was very good, and though it was a bit loud we could still have a conversation. I have paid much more money at fancy restaurants and served food that I enjoyed much less. There were five of us in my group and everyone of us really enjoyed what we ordered. There is no actual parking lot, but there is plenty of space along the street to park. This is definitely a family style restaurant, not at all the kind of ambience I would want for a romantic evening with my wife. But if you're hungry and love seafood you'll want to check this place out. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in town! Note that there are only open from 11 AM till 6 PM Tuesday through Sunday. They are closed on Mondays.
