I went to Hamza Kebab for lunch today, and had a very pleasant experience. Their prices are pretty typical for Döner Kebab and Falafel in budget restaurants, but the food, the staff, and the dining room seemed a cut above the usual.
I had a chicken döner sandwich with the usual toppings. The cashier confirmed exactly what I wanted on it (e.g. onions? no thanks, I have to be around other people today), rang me up, and my food was delivered to my table just a few seconds later. The sandwich was well-prepared with a good mixture of ingredients, and the taste was good.
Next time I'm there I will try the falafel, which is advertised as being homemade. (Something I assume is usually the case, but maybe I'm naïve.) read more
