They were generally seller-friendly on the pre-sale side, did not advocate for a smooth transition (getting us the proper information needed to transfer a custom home) and lacked the immediacy we needed to address unfinished or undisclosed items from the seller. Throughout the process, pre and post sale, it was "buyer beware" and "we don't do that in North Carolina" attitude on all of our very basic requests. The entire transaction was very much transactional, and lacked personal support and advocacy needed to make a smooth buying/relocation process. We would not recommend A Cole Realty for any home buying experience in Raleigh.

I will say they were fantastic right up to the point i moved in. with in weeks i had a water leak from the master bathroom requiring the master bath shower and tub to be removed and replace, (a three month process). (they knew about the issue before i moved in and did not address it, but painted the ceiling to cover the damage before i moved in.) they will conduct a 6 month review on the property. i get it, no problem but the old man that showed up came with a 360 camera. the same setups that relators use to show case a property. when i refused to let them use the camera they gave me attitude. they kept saying it was in the lease so i asked them to show me where i agreed to this. then they just conducted a walk thru and found now issues. also, it those two years, the washer failed three times and they finally replaced it. then the microwave/oven unit failed and they replaced it after a few weeks. at move out i requested a walk thru and they refused to complete one with me. i had to call three times a day for over two weeks before some idiot answered the phone and told me i would get any part of the deposit that wasn't used in 60 days. but he couldn't tell me what they were going to charge me for. please, rent from anyone else in wake county. absolutely anyone else.

When my AC went out in the middle of summer and my thermostat was reading 84 degrees, I practically had to beg them to send someone to fix it. On top of that, my rent increases every year, and there are random additional fees that are never clearly explained. While I truly love the townhouse itself, I am choosing to leave solely because dealing with this company has been such a nightmare. On the rare occasion you do get someone to return your calls or follow up they are rude and completely unhelpful.I strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs.

Our family is working with a general contractor, and has been attempting to work with Scalice for now going on almost 3 months. They must be very busy. Good for them - anyone can work with expectations once they are set. We were quoted 6-8 weeks before someone could come out for the survey. We waited. They completed the work and we submitted what we needed to the county for our permit but the county requested more detail as the detail was missing for our pool area. We have now been contacting this company daily to get a confirmation on when they can make the requested update and have been unable to get a response. So now we have already paid them and are at their mercy to have a minimum expectation of customer service. It may take a while and they may deliver on one service but don't expect to be treated as an appreciated customer. You must hope they did everything right the first time because once they are done, there's no full accountability to their customers if clarifications or updates are needed.

The bugs were ridiculous. and deborah was never available, would rather send you a text then answer/call back after a voicemail was left. Horrible people to deal with and did not care about us at all. my tags were expired for one month on my car and they threatened daily to tow my car. they did drive bys to make sure vehicles were up to date. only positive thing to say is that the matinees man who they hire for small maintenance issues was amazing. he replaced our blinds same day, called first, and was so respectful, even took his shoes off when he entered the house (we didn't ask him to do that) Overall, i will tell all college friends, family and anyone i can that this company was the worst experience of my life. These people care about you the first month, then after that ignore you and do not care about you.
