What really stood out was how she took the time to explain the specific traits and characteristics of our dog's breed and personality. That insight alone helped us understand our dog on a completely different level. Her training techniques were clear, effective, and easy to apply at home even though we only have few sessions. Instead of just telling us what to do, she explained why certain methods work, which made a huge difference in how consistent and confident we felt during training. You can tell she genuinely cares--not just about training the dog, but about making sure the owners are set up for long-term success. The guidance she provided has made everyday interactions with our dog so much smoother. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and effective dog trainer. Thank you Dory! Will see you soon.

The night before her home training she gave us instructions on how to crate him at night and IT WORKED! He slept peacefully all night. The day of our training, we learned techniques only someone with her decades of expertise would know. My husband who had pets since childhood was surprised by what he didn't know. Dory taught us how to teach him boundaries and how to make the crate a positive experience. Dory's in-home assessment, training tools and positive learning techniques set us up for success. We are looking forward to joining her group training as our next step. Thank you Dory for what you do!

The staff was so patient and kind to a worried dog mom. Molly & I got set up for some private lessons and had our first one today. I really appreciated that the trainer, Emillie, recognized when Molly was stressed or nervous. She worked with us at Molly's pace, not mine. That made all the difference in how Molly got comfortable in the new environment. On the ride there she was antsy and scared in the car. On the way home she was relaxed and happy. That alone was a huge WIN on day one! I can't wait to see what comes with our next lessons. Check out their dog peanut butter (I had to buy more) and selection of treats (we took home some Valentine's Day dog cookies).

They were very knowledgeable and very pleasant. Based on our observations, I would recommend zoom room for groups and group training. But unfortunately I wouldn't recommend private lessons. Our new rescue puppy did have some temperament issues and they said that private would be better place to start. The only training that was offered was click training. It's a very methodical approach that takes a lot of time and patience. The trainer was very well-versed in this method but the bottom line is that one type of traing doesn't fit all. This was the only method that was offered. They didn't give us the handouts in the beginning, which would've greatly assisted us assimilating the rules and expectations of click training. They gave it to us after three sessions and we paid for four 30 minute sessions. This sessions were conducted in the main room of the facility. Unfortunately, we could hear clicking sounds from people waiting for the next group lesson which totally threw off our dog's training and was an expensive waste of precious of time. So I would definitely not recommend private training at this facility - especially at $75 for 30 minutes! On a personal note, we eventually solved the problem by having our dog visit daycare on a regular basis. Our rescue puppy simply needed exposure to other dogs and a whole lot of TLC!

They had a fight in the morning and a second one in the evening. The dogs were left unattended, together during day play. The "handlers" apparently blew the airhorns to get the other dog to stop attacking my dog, that didn't work so then ran to get Adam. What if he wasn't there? My dog would probably not be here today. My dog and the other dog were put back together later the same day, which does not make any sense to anyone with a functioning brain. I didn't know the extent of my dogs injuries due to the attack. Adam tried to negotiate with me to pay the vet bill from his vet even before me being able to see my dog. MY DOG GOT ATTACKED DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE. He offered to give me a free week if I paid $500-600 for the vet bill. Just goes to show you how absolutely money hungry he is and what he's willing to put at risk ( YOUR DOG). I took my dog to our regular vet that Thursday and he had to have 2 drains surgically put into his leg to let it drain and keep swelling down. Not once did Adam apologize for what happened. Not once did he express any compassion or sympathy. That's when I realized it's all just money for him. You and your dog are just another dollar sign to him. This is just a warning for those of you thinking of coming here. He hires people off the street who have 0 dog training or experience with handling dogs to work for him. He is an extremely rough handler, i've watched him myself. The things that are done to your dog when no one is watching makes my blood boil. Please think twice about what may happen to your pup while in their care. My dog paid the price, don't let yours also. We've had a long 3 years of recovery for my dog to be able to trust other people and dogs again. He will never be the dog that he was before because of Adam and Obedient Paws. Please, if you love your dog, don't walk, RUN far away from this place and this man. You will be doing your dog the greatest service.

I was not going to write a review but my experience there just hasn't sat well with me…read more I went in a couple days ago with my kids because I am looking at switching my dogs to a raw food diet. This place came highly recommended. We walked in the door and I was looking in a fridge. There was a dog in there with someone with a service dog harness on. My kids took a couple steps towards the dog (still about 6 feet away). The dog started barking and lunging at my kids. He was on a leash thank goodness. I yelled at my kids to come to me and yes when we got in the car I reiterated to them the important of not approaching random dogs and asking before trying to pet. I walked through the store to see what they had as I had never been there before. We walked back towards the front and I looked through other coolers they had. Making sure my kids stood by the front door as I did this. The dog started barking and freaking out again. I felt so uncomfortable and honestly worried about my kids safety that we just left. Never once did someone ask if they could help me, ask what I was looking for, maybe come up and apologize for the dog going nuts. It was just a bad experience. Let me end by saying I get every service dog has a different job and maybe protecting his owner is what his job is. But to react that aggressively and whoever was handling him sounded like they were having a hard time getting him to stop. That dog shouldn't be brought out in public. Seeing other customers walk in the dog should have been put in the back or taken out to the car or something.
