I liked how they offered lots of little branded aneminites such as shower packs, kitchen packs and hot tub cleaner. The only thing that I didn't care for was the very strict check in/check out times. Check in is at 4 and you get access by text only. Check out is promptly 10 AM! That seems extremely early especially for the prices you are paying. I asked for either an early check in or late check out and was denied which is fine but if checkout were a little later it would've been extremely helpful.

**BUYER BEWARE -- I would strongly recommend staying away from Meredith Properties.**…read more I rent Airbnbs and vacation homes ALL the time, and I do not leave reviews like this lightly. I understand that rental properties are not hotels, things occasionally break, and photos are naturally going to present a property in its best light. But there is a significant difference between that and what we experienced here. First, the photos were almost laughable compared with the actual condition of the property. This was not a matter of flattering angles or professional photography--the reality simply did not live up to what was represented. Multiple advertised amenities were broken or unusable, and Meredith Properties showed remarkably little interest in actually fixing anything. The house had bugs and spiders throughout it, with cobwebs in multiple areas, and the overall level of upkeep was nowhere near what I would expect from a professionally managed vacation rental. The problems continued inside the house. There weren't even enough plates and glasses for the number of guests the property was supposed to accommodate. I actually CUT MY LIP on a broken glass provided in the home. The so-called essentials felt like someone had gone out and purchased an assortment of random, inexpensive items simply so they could technically say the house was stocked, rather than thoughtfully equipping a property for paying guests. But the condition of the house was only half the problem. What made this experience truly unacceptable was the response from Meredith Properties. When we raised legitimate concerns, there was seemingly no urgency or genuine desire to make things right. At one point I realized I was apparently communicating with an AI chatbot rather than even receiving the courtesy of speaking with a person about the problems we were experiencing. For a company entrusted with people's vacations--and charging real money for these properties--that level of customer service is astonishing. The overall message we received was essentially: **we have your money, these are your problems now.** And prospective guests should pay attention to something else: **read the other reviews.** I am clearly not the only guest who has had serious concerns. I wish I had given those reviews considerably more weight before booking. Again, I travel frequently and rent vacation properties all the time. I know the difference between a minor inconvenience and a genuinely bad rental experience. I also know that problems can happen at ANY property. What separates a good management company from a bad one is how they respond when those problems occur. Meredith Properties had multiple opportunities to show us that they cared about their guests and to make this experience right. In my experience, they chose not to. My advice to anyone considering one of their properties is simple: **look very carefully at the reviews, do not assume the photographs accurately represent what you will find when you arrive, and think twice before trusting Meredith Properties with your vacation.** I certainly will not make that mistake again.

I also really appreciate that the guys running the shop are low pressure, and super honest. I hired a contractor to replace the hardwoods in my craftsman. I loved the floors but some of the areas were beyond repair and I didn't think it was really possible to just replace the damaged areas without it being obvious - these old floors have patina and natural wear, and I was sure they'd been sanded down numerous times. My contractors was sure he could do it, but said to check out the floors at Seaport in case I wanted to do a full replacement. The guys at Seaport were so technical with the specific sanders and stains and finishes, I can see why my contractor sent me here. I ended up going with the repair instead of a full replacement, and I am so thankful that they convinced me. They saved my 50+ year old floors, they look and feel incredible. They looked through photos of my floors and picked out unfinished boards that were not just the same oak type, but even had similar grain patterns for the replacement boards. These guys are true masters of their craft and champions of old-world quality. Craftsmen like guys at Seaport are the secrete magicians that keep the charm alive in old homes in Portland. And if you're in the market for a full replacement, they have samples of all of their floors, finished and unfinished, and a lot (a ton!!) of smaller swatch samples you can take home to see in your space and to show your contractor your stain choices. If you've gone to a big box store and felt some expensive hardwoods, do yourself a favor and stop by Seaport and really feel the quality difference. When you hold it in your hand, you will know, I can't explain it. Thank you Seaport!!

Be very careful using this company it can be hit or miss and when it's miss, it's really bad!!…read moreThe first time they came out, they did siding and the job was good however very, very expensive. This last time they came out, they did the staircase railing crooked it was their mistake and then they had to come out and fix it. Vicente( owner) came out in a horrible mood eating a burrito and ignoring me while I asked him questions because he was late and I had to go to an appointment. I had reminded him that something else was left undone. They were supposed to do red oxide on all the pillar tops and left one undone and so now it is rusty. He continued to be rude and act like he didn't know what I was talking about however, I speak three languages so it's kind of hard not to know what I'm talking about. For all of this and a few more things they charged $6500 which is highway robbery. Not to mention that they left nails all over my driveway which they had done the first time as well. I will take pictures of everything below. Lastly, and worst, I believe that they did open up a private box in my storage because it was turned around and boxes don't just turn themselves. That was the worst abuse. This was really private stuff that nobody was supposed to look at. I had plastic covering all over it. We all have those things and we have a right and nobody should touch our things. In the time that they came here, I treated them very respectfully. I speak three languages and conducted my business in the second language, not my native tongue. When their microwave wasn't working or they forgot to bring it which some people won't even allow you to use that, I invited them into my home and let them use my kitchen and my microwave. They left napkins with hot sauce all over my property that I had to pick up every time and I didn't even say anything about it. Instead, I politely set up a table for them to eat at and tried to create a trash bag for them. All in all being ripped off, treated rudely and disrespectfully by Vicente and having my work finished improperly is enough for me never to want to come back and I feel right telling other people To add one last caveat, there's an older woman that lives onThree Rocks Rd. who has a neck brace I don't want to give her her name. She told me NEVER to use them. She said she spent $40,000 on work and got rats in her house because they left holes in the walls. This cannot be completely substantiated, but I was nervous using them the second time after I heard her story and now I'm just grateful to get through without too much damage , just being ripped off. I told her she should leave a review. Please be careful if you use this company, if you do It's good to have a nice strong husband to guide you because you may get ripped off or abused if you are a woman by yourself or elderly. Of course this is just my experience, but there are others out there who just don't report it like the elderly lady on Three Rocks Rd. and that's the unfortunate thing.

So happy with the work done. Couldn't have gone any better. Thank you to Vincente and team. love my…read morehouse!
