Just stayed here overnight so no time to enjoy all amenities. Room was clean, small, but with a very spacious bathroom. Gray floor when we entered reminded me of unfinished cement floor. Staff was friendly each time I came for assistance. The price was reasonable by booking ahead of time for Labor Day weekend as it was Canfield Fair time. The breakfast was hot and fresh, rooms were clean, and the gym had all the equipment I need for my cardio and weight training. Parking was easy and hotel area was relatively quiet, but also near a good number of restaurants and stores. Overall, I am happy with the stay and the convenient location as our home base visiting family. read more

This hotel has nice staff but could seriously improve drastically upon their room cleanliness. This is something that I did not expect from a Hilton branded facility. Im fairly certain its franchised as when I asked to speak to the manager he revealed there is no active manager... but owner would contact me. Our issue? Dirty, unchanged sheets, one with what looked like a feces stain, the other set so wrinkled it looked like someone had had a very restless sleep. At 10:50 pm I had to have my bed stripped and remade with fresh sheets. The the end of day that I was experiencing nor one that I paid thru the nose for (as a big dog show was in town and all the rates were hiked up) Then the night stand had a 2x3 sticky stop that I had to scrub off with soap and water in front of the clerk. The breakfast was decent. We didnt eat any but we checked it out. They had a lot to choose from that might be the only pro other than the evening desk clerk was very nice. Despite him being nice and the good breakfast....I personally would not stay at this location ever again nor would I recommend it to anyone. There are better hotels with comparable pricing. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I stayed at this hotel from March 21-24-25, and the two star is for a clean room and towels. However, the room I stayed in (221) had the following issues: 1) one of the wall socket plates detached from the wall 2) When the PTAC turned on, it rattled for nearly 7 minutes throughout the day and night 3) the exit hallway stairs near my room was not clean and attended to. Also, the door will not automatically closed and would stay ajar, making it a safety issue. There was light litter and a coffee cream cup that remained there from Friday through Monday morning. 4) When I had breakfast which was very limited and some processed, I sat at the front where the television was and the carpet was continually dirty and not vacuumed. On Friday morning, the 21st, 2025, sitting at the table having breakfast with my wife, the hotel had already charged the full amount stay of $668.84 for three nights. My wife was unable to make the trip so, I was able to use my credit card upon arrival. After charging the full amount for the three nights stay, they charged an additional $105.34 on the day of checkout. When I questioned why, I was told that the manager can give me a call to explain. I never did hear from the manager. In my view, this hotel does not meet the standards of the Hampton Inn hotel chain and the Hilton hotel chain at large. When I am in the area again, I will not stay at this hotel. read more

The Hampton Inn Youngstown-Boardman is clean and conveniently located by the freeway and has lots of food and grocery options nearby. I travel to the area a couple of times a year to visit family and I stay at one of the hotels around the Hampton Inn. I recommend the Hampton Inn. The staff was friendly and professional. read more

Looks are deceiving. I'm disappointed that Hampton Inn, along with so many other hotels, have let there places go. Carpet is spotted and dirty, smells old and looks old. One good thing the fan in the bathroom works. It's sad they'll update the tv, lamps or put the AC switch on the wall but they won't update the carpet or flooring or bathroom. I'm glad it's only one night. read more

Your hotel entrance smelled like fish. After a late night return on Friday and early out on Saturday for graduation, it wasn't until Sunday morning we noticed the water stained ceiling and black mold. Your restaurant was also dinghy. The elevators made alarming banging noises and rooms were poorly lit. Obviously to hide the mold. I intended to speak with the desk about it, but the fire alarm went off. Thankfully we were already packed so we dragged our luggage down and left. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone read more

Hampton Inn is generally a consistently reliable brand. This property fell just short of my expectations as a regular loyal guest of the brand. 1.) The hotel's elevator was out of service. We did receive a text message the morning of our arrival asking if wanted to cancel. We requested lowest available for my elderly mother and were dropped from the 3rd to the 2nd floor. 2.) The pool is straight-up broken. COVID restrictions on swimming pools were lifted months ago. A staff member said that the pool is broken in some way and the management refuses to fix it. 3.) The overly honest staff person lamented openly about the hotel's management. You're slipping Hampton Inn Boardman. Catch yourself before you get downgraded to another brand. A couple budget brands across the street and down the road are eating your lunch at half the price. read more

Rating is based only on the rooms* Room: I had a room on the first floor that had a mildew/mold smell. You came tell the rooms have never been renovated (see pictures) in a long rime. They were dirty and looked old. I would stay at another place for the amount of money they charge per night. Staff: Employees are nice snd helpful! No complaints about them. Decided on this hotel as a pit stop on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised! Location of this hotel is amazing as it has lots of great food options around + general stores. Hotel itself was also very clean and the staff were more than polite and helpful. The room we booked was a double bed which was very spacious, and it also felt very clean which is a plus. The only negative of the room was that the water in the shower would not go down while it was on, but it did not really affect our stay. Also, shoutout to Caroline and Sherry (I hope I spelt that correctly) as they made our stay convenient and pleasant and they were more than nice to us as well. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to people stopping by. read more

We live nearby but spent a night at the Hampton as our hot water heater was on the fritz and hubby had Hilton points to spare. It is a typical Hampton setup although the lobby/breakfast area is a bit smaller than most. The room itself was nice except for the fact that the tile portion of the floor was VERY slippery. I nearly fell walking across it with sock feet on my way to the bathroom. It was slightly better barefoot but not much. On the plus side, the in room fridge was actually cold (many aren't) and also had a microwave. I didn't try the breakfast as I had to go home to meet the plumber but I expect it was probably typicaly Hampton fare. I would definitley put guests here if I needed a hotel in the area again. read more

**Quaratine Review** Great hotel and stay here after a poor experience at another Hampton in Clearfield PA. Everything wrong there was right here, easy HP parking right by the door. Easy check in although a bit slow due to the virus. The room was nice and fairly modern, although we have been in more modern Hamptons than this one. The bathroom was ok, but the tile in there was a bit slippery, and not ADA acceptable. Extra supplies were in the room for our 3 day stay. The TV was HD and digital and 5 times bigger than the last Hampton we stayed at. The pool here has an HP lift you can use, but it's closed now. A bag type breakfast is available. There are a wazillion places to eat in the area. The only thing I didn't care for here is the pillows. They are feather filled pillows, I had to go three rounds with my pillow every night before sleeping. Then the feathers punish you for hitting them, by poking you. Other than that, it's 2 thumbs up and recommended!!! read more

The manager, Annette, goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests. I had a FedEx complication that barely involved the Hampton Inn, but Annette throughly aided me with matter all the way until it was resolved. Good location, near shopping and walking distance to several restaurants and coffee shop. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There is indoor pool and small gym/weight room. Rooms are large, comfy beds. Standard Hampton breakfast included. Only downsides are the third level floor creaks loudly when stepped on and they leave their firedoors propped open ( convenient if running up the stairs but could be dangerous if a fire occurred). read more

Nice hotel. Went for mothers funeral, first time staying In a hotel in ytown. Got a room on 3rd floor, walked in after family reception and found 3 live bugs. One on ceiling, one on lamp and one on bed. Called front desk and they came and got rid of them saying that those are common bugs this time of year and come in when the door is open, they moved us to a second floor room citing that the were on the 3rd floor only. The second night we got back to the room after the funeral, and again there were 3 bugs, the manager apologized and took care of them. Did not sleep much both nights. Upon checkout, we found out that the manager comped our room at no charge. A welcome and yet unexpected surprise. The hotel was clean had a heated indoor pool, average free breakfast, and very nice staff. BTW, the bug we found out was a stink bug which is common that time of year looking for somewhere warm to stay. Never crush them as they have a very nasty smell, hence the name. read more

All the staff has been more than friendly! They even took apart the bathroom sink when I dropped my favorite earring down the drain. Breakfast is great, and I love the big walk in shower. The only issue I have had is that there is some kind of weird leak that leaks into the carpet outside my room when I shower. Other than that I would recommend this hotel for their great service. read more
