Very nice, new hotel in the Flowood area. The hotel staff is very sweet and willing to accomodate you, the only frustration is their shuttle has strange hours and since I tend to fly in late at night I'm going to have to rent a car every time, or drive from Dallas (boo either way). Back to the actual hotel, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable! This is the most important aspect of any hotel for me, everything else is extra. A large flat screen TV is in the corner along with a hidden refrigerator and microwave. Neither are large so don't go buy a bunch of food items, but it's good enough for some leftovers if you go out to dinner. Bathroom is well lit and has TWO wall sockets, this made me so happy because if you're a woman and have a hair dryer and a flat iron, you can't fit the large plugs on a single wall plate. This scored some bonus points for me. They only had a shower, no tub, which is fine cause I don't take baths and the extra space in the shower was kind of nice. Small workout room, but enough to burn some calories. Speaking of calories, let's talk about breakfast. They always have some hot food options (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc). They have a waffle maker and pastries that are stocked every morning. I went for the oatmeal which had a "fixins" stand right by it with dried fruits, sliced almonds and brown sugar. MMMMM. They also have more "continental breakfast" options like cereal and breads. They provide various coffees and juices which is good, and if you're in a rush they actually have "grab and go" breakfast bags at the front desk. Great thing about this hotel is it's close to everything! I didn't have to drive more than 15 minutes to get anywhere. I actually enjoyed it so much I've already booked my stay at this hotel for next month.

Awful. From the rude unhelpful check in clerk, food left in fridge from last guest and unresponsive housekeeping and hotel management.

Pleasantly Surprised…read more My stay at this hotel was a pleasant surprise from the moment I booked. I reserved the room through the app as a Gold member, which comes with a few perks, and since I only needed the room for one night, the process was simple and convenient. I arrived around 3:00 PM and was greeted promptly by the front desk. I planned to check in at that time but was told it would be about five more minutes while they finished preparing the room--no problem at all. I decided to head to the conference I was in town for and returned later that evening around 7:30 PM. At that time, there was quite a crowd checking in and only one person working the front desk, which resulted in a short wait. Despite that, the check-in process went smoothly. I was informed that the in-person room rate was higher than what I had booked online; however, as a Gold member, they honored the original price. That genuinely surprised me, as I've never experienced that level of consideration before. Once in the room, there were a few details that kept the stay from being a full five-star experience. Upon entry, there was a noticeable damp, stuffy smell--possibly due to the apartment-style layout. Additionally, a bit more attention to cleaning would have helped: there was a broken fingernail on the floor, hair on the sofa, and a food stain on the dresser. Nothing major, but noticeable, especially since I had been told the room was being cleaned several hours earlier. From that point on, however, everything was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was a standout. While it was standard hotel fare, it was clearly prepared with care and had great flavor. On a cold winter morning, the hot breakfast, along with coffee, tea, juice, muffins, oatmeal, eggs, and a full breakfast bar, was both comforting and impressive. Overall, aside from those few minor issues, I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely stay here again. With a bit more attention to detail in room cleaning and additional front desk staffing during peak check-in times, this hotel could easily deliver a consistent five-star experience.

For example the side door our key was not working and they called maintenance to check the battery in the door. Then our other key lost its access to the room so they quickly helped us get a replacement. I called to ask for an extended check out as we were so exhausted, we're trying to rest more because our son has insomnia and kept us up almost all night and he finally fell asleep. as sure as i asked to extend he woke up and wanted to swim but that was very helpful to have the extended time to have him swim because then he slept almost the entire ride home. The staff were extremely polite to him and he just loved all of their kindness as well as did we. From the moment we checked in until we left we felt very well taken care of and the hotel was room was clean, perfect space for us and our two dogs. Again, amazing staff!!!! We look forward to making this he a regular place to stop now vs our previous location in Jackson. We come through this area about 2-3x a year and we're excited to find a hotel with such pleasant staff and clean premises.

Decent hotel stay, sort of ruined by the false advertising on Expedia. Not sure who's at fault,…read morebut it's BS. Jackson is a less than favorable community for my auto charging needs. There is only one set of old ass Superchargers at the janky outlet mall. Getting in and out of that mall is mind numbingly frustrating. The traffic coming from Ridgeland into Pearl (where the SC is located) is always backed up. It sucks so bad. Sometimes it's ten mins to go one mile. Why is this relevant? I chose this hotel so I could charge overnight and not have to use the SC in Pearl. I arrived to find them all out of order, possibly never fully installed. Despite that it was clearly advertised as having a charging station. So I check in, dangerously low on energy and go to plug my car in. No power at any of the stations I tried. I go and ask the front desk lady and she says, "yea they work, try another one". Stupidly I listen to her and then the real frustration sets in. I now realize I have to drive to Pearl and sit there and charge. See above. Not to mention the POS chargers limited me to 75kW max on that visit. Lovely. Room was fine after my anger subsided. I would have actually enjoyed my stay had I not felt duped. AC units were extremely loud though. Breakfast offerings are so bad. I don't know who eats this at a corporate level and says "Yep! That is the one!!! People will love this! Why can't we just have bacon and sausage that come from pigs rather emulsified and formed trash meat. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. They even had chicken freaking nuggets for breakfast. What the what? They texted me and asked how it was after I got there. I told them what I thought. No response from Ashley. Oh well. We will try something else next time. '25 - 41/111

Some front desk staff, primarily the overnight gentleman - not so much. Nothing like asking questions in the morning and feeling like you're putting him out of his way. The food was the biggest disappointment. Used my Titanium benefit for free breakfast in the morning. From afar, the buffet looked amazing. However, each morning the eggs were full of water, the waffles were soggy, and the food lukewarm at best. Staff tends to hang out back in the kitchen, rarely making rounds to check on drinks or for any other needs. Again, very nice. But not really attentive. The evening reception in the lounge was unremarkable. Honor bar was a fantastic touch. However, the food again was disappointing, over over seasoned and cold, despite sitting in the warming trays. Each night I tried something different at the restaurant. Temperatures were inconsistent, usually it was very heavily salted. On my last night multiple people sent food back from the bar for various issues. There happened to be a special event going on, and when speaking with the food and beverage supervisor, the special event seemed to be the focus. The pool area has been closed the entire time. Here for business. Not a lot of accommodations in the area to choose from. I would give this property another chance, but they need to step up their game. Not a ton of options in this area for accommodations.

It was driving me crazy I was pulling everything out. Bc I had candles, frebreze etc and it was over powering that. I found molded food, pepperoni, french fries in the bottom of the trash bin that clearly had been there for Eva... they had just put a bag in the can and didn't even check it. Without notice to me, the hotel changed the reservation to 2 reservations. We canceled before the deadline, but because the reservation had been changed to 2, one of the reservations remained. We were charged a no show charge for that reservation. I called the hotel to inquire about it. They said I just canceled one of the 2 rooms, yet I only had 1 confirmation to cancel to my knowledge. All of my reservations and cancelations were done online. I received no notice that the hotel had split my 1 reservation into 2. Poor management. I have and continue to be in contact with IHG to get this issue resolved.
