We skipped breakfast the 2nd day as we both got food poisoning after the first morning. Tiny office chair, missing light fittings.

For the last four years this place has been where I stay when I visit OKC. I love this place!…read more Location is excellent, just minutes away from the airport. In fact it appears to be right under a flight path, but you'd never know it inside your quiet room. The rooms have very nice little kitchens with full sized refrigerator/freezers and big microwave ovens. If you want to cook on a conventional electric cooktop, they are available by request. The glassware, dishes and cutlery are very good quality. Very convenient if you are planning on eating some meals in your room. The beds here are very comfortable and the although the pillows aren't quite as good as I would prefer, they are entirely sufficient. I always get a good night's sleep here. The bathrooms have dispensers mounted in the showers with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. For some reason a dispenser of body lotion is mounted next to the bathroom sink instead of a soap dispenser. But I guess that's OK because the provided sink amenities include a tiny bar of good quality soap. The Black Out curtains in the rooms really work. They're mounted so that when they are closed NO outside light leaks in. Super helpful if you are looking to get a good night's sleep. And I always am. Breakfast is included, and I'm reasonably happy with the selections. There's a waffle bar, with all kinds of toppings available. Or maybe you might want to start your day with instant oatmeal, or one of three varieties of cold cereal. There is one of those cool conveyor belt commercial toasters and a huge selection of bread items to toast, including bagels, English muffins, and both white and wheat bread. Now to be perfectly frank, the bread selections are not the highest quality, but they're good enough. Still, I wish they were of a little higher quality. There are several different pre-made breakfast sandwiches to choose from, including Jimmy Dean sausage and egg. There is an open face sandwich that is so popular it disappears just about as soon as they put it in the case. That's the one for me! Kinda looks like a little breakfast pizza of sorts. So good! Last week when I was visiting, I had one of those open face sandwiches and went back for another, only to find they were all gone. Tony, one of the Home2Suites team members, saw me looking around and asked me what I was searching for. Soon as I told him he raced to the back and brought out another whole tray of those bad boys. That wasn't the first time Tony has helped me out. He's always making sure everyone has everything they need. He makes you feel right at home. Such a great personality! Makes me happy every time I see the guy! But you know something? I could say that about every member of the staff at this hotel. They always welcome you with a sincere enthusiasm. And they never fail to help you out if you need something, Case in point: I drink tea, and several different times I've stopped at the Complimentary Coffee/Tea station to brew myself a cup, only to discover they are out of my favorite brand, Constant Comment. Usually when this happens, even before I can ask, the on duty Desk Clerk will see me searching around and ask if I need anything. As soon as I mention I'm looking for the Constant Comment they are right there restocking the tea bag cubby. Add to all this, the hotel sports a very nice indoor pool and also has a small selection of packaged microwavable foods for sale. Oh and also a small selection. of various toiletries, too. There's a public work station on one side of the spacious lobby. In the morning the well appointed lobby is used for breakfast seating. There's a TV, albeit not a large one, so you can catch the weather report before you head out for your day. Parking close to the entrance get a little crowded at peak times, but the property is adjacent to another similar sized hotel, so there's always someplace to park, although you might have to walk an extra 50 feet. Parking is free, and like everywhere else these days, you park at your own risk. Oh yeah I want to mention I like how some of the parking places are extra wide. Really great for fools like me that can barely park in normal sized spots. Lol. By the way, the hotel is pet friendly. My Oklahoma relatives are always telling me I should stay in Bricktown at some swanky hotel or another. I'm like, hell no. I don't need swank, I like it out here on the outskirts of town. Home2Suites has everything I need, and at an affordable price! The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is just fantastic! Mikey C says: Why would I stay anywhere else when I visit OKC?

My AC went out one day during my stay, she had someone out there to take a look and fix it within 15-20 minutes! The breakfast was awesome I thought for hotel breakfast. They switched up some of the meals and had many options to choose from. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because the laundry room service was terrible. Those washer and dryers need to be upgraded so badly. The coins were annoying. And the worst part of this whole place was the homeless people. There was SO many homeless people camped right outside this hotel and most of them were obviously on drugs so I did not feel safe at night time walking in from the parking lot. Otherwise this hotel was great, the room spacious and I'd definitely stay here again.

Dogs all over the place with no leashes Room had very small tvs and came across as outdated plus both phones did not work in the room. Late night noises was heard in the room past 10 pm from the lobby and hallway. Only two towels in the room. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable.

When we first walked, it took about 5 mins for the blonde at the desk to even say anything, god forbid she looked up from the computer. Her customer service skills were lack there of. After having to pay $7 for a 3 rd person and receiving that sort of customer service we were angry which set the tone for the rest of the night. The location is right off the highway but is a little sketchy. After arriving in the room, it smelled like smoke and housekeeping just sprayed room deodorizer to cover it up. Then we noticed, the shower cap covering the smoke detector. HUGE safety concern!! After trying to call the front desk for 10 mins and being hung up on, we went down there and of course our new friend was working. She not only grunted because we were bothering her but she also mentioned that the likley hood of a fire was unlikley. Yes but that is not the point. What if? Judging by that neighborhood you just dont know. She also, couldnt be bothered to pick her eyes off her phone either and told us we could take it down ourselves. Never again!

My one sore spot was a 'cold spot'. The air conditioner blasted such cold air onto my face while lying in bed. I eventually placed a towel over it.
