The entire place looks like this and smells. I will add more photos, this is a dump!

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT book a room here. I had an urgent death in the family and had to get a quick room for the weekend to attend the service. I walked into this place and I was stunned. As big as Hilton is they should shut these places down if they are going to do work. The room smelled like urine, and the carpet was nasty. And of course the people next door decided to have a screaming match at 11:00 at night after I have traveled all day. I am Hilton Gold level and this was a terrible experience. There are a ton of hotels within a mile from or two so STAY AWAY from this dump! Its now 11:30 and the arguing is still going on. Might have to cancel my room here and stay elsewhere tomorrow night.

BedBugs found in two rooms days apart from one another.

BedBugs found in two rooms days apart from one another. They offered only a fraction of the HH points to compensate one night. Recommendation: don't book here, as there is low priority on customer service.

Clean room, friendly staff, and quiet place to stay while traveling at a fair price. Pet friendly place to stay.

A relatively new property that is immediately adjacent to Lake Ray Hubbard on the Rockwall side…read more Easy access to Highway 30 and close to a variety of restaurants and bars. The decor is sharp and clean. Very little wear and tear. Staff is friendly. Rooms are all suites and are good looking. Beds are comfortable. The only thing that was a little off in our room is that when the A/C started up, it literally sounded like a jet engine whirling up. I slept okay with the noise, my daughter not so much. Pool is nice but not overly large and there are a couple separate sitting area's vicinity of the pool. One had a pergola over it and the other had a fire pit. There is also a event/conference center located within the hotel. Bar is fair sized and was busy in the evenings. Fitness Center has several treadmills and some free weights. Not a lot, but you can get a work out in. Hot breakfast is included. First day it was pretty good, second day, they ran out of food and brought out breakfast sandwiches that had been frozen, the issue was when they were reheated, the inside sausage patty was still partially frozen. You scan even make your own waffles, however, on the 2nd day, one of the waffle makers stopped working. Long lines and you couldn't get a waffle. Both were disappointing and a bit of a swing and miss. Parking is complimentary. Except for the breakfast issue and the jet engine for an air conditioning, it was a very nice stay.

The beds were hard. So hard my back is still hurting after getting home on my own bed…read more And then the bathroom...there was no soap in the bathroom, there was poop on the wall next to the toilet paper, the toilet paper holder was held onto the wall with expanding foam, there was paint missing from the bathroom door entrance, missing caulk, torn carpet on the wall( and there was carpet on the wall..........???). They decided to close in the plumbing under the sink and just screwed a piece of mdf that they painted to kind of match the vanity. I forgot to take a photo of that. Then at night, there was some loud bass sound that started each morning around 4 and kept going until 9. He phone message started blinking red but there was no message and no way to stop it. When the ac kicked on, it was loud and very strong. Of course, it was meant to cool the entire room so I get that it had to be strong. But it still sounded like a jet engine warming up. The staff was good, but for the price and location it left a lot to be desired. If you are going to say you are by the lake, it would be nice if you could see the lake from more than one room on the top floor.

Loved our 3-night stay at Hyatt Place in Rockwell, TX. This modern hotel must be relatively new…read more Our king room included a nice-sized sectional, large wall-mounted tv, wood plank floors, and an adequate bathroom with a very nice glassed-in shower. I get a little picky about dirty bathroom corners or moldy shower tiles, so I appreciate how clean our bathroom was. Common areas like the elevators were clean as well. This Hyatt Place has an exceptional breakfast! Oh my goodness! While trying to respect protocols in place for Their establishment, they pulled off an amazing breakfast each day, which were packaged to be come-and-go, but the common area to eat could be used as well. Today's hash served with sausage links and scrambled eggs was yummy. They even prepared a homemade salsa to top it off. I always felt like Every breakfast was specially prepared just for me!! Lastly, but probably most importantly, the staff made us feel right at home, and were kind and generous and helpful.

I never made a reservation under my name, never stayed at this hotel, and never signed any documents authorizing these charges. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, nobody has been willing to help or provide answers. The lack of customer service and accountability has been extremely frustrating. Instead of helping resolve a serious billing issue, I was treated poorly and ignored. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before staying here.

Long time tenant/best Gen Mgr Kim…read more A few months ago I had a very negative Reivew that I did not share on most Review channels like Trip advisor or Yelp. It was such a challenge to me...I took it bit further to whom I believe is the Regional Manager for several locations including this one.  It was situations that I would not want to list to deter anyone from staying here and now the majority of my complaints have been fixed or corrected. I wanted to give a SPECIAL recognition to Kim (GM) and the Front desk staff and even the cleaning staff.  As a knowledgeable person in this business...I understand that some tenants..including myself can complain about BUILDING issues and even system issues that may be beyond the control of the Front desk staff and even the GM. Most times the tenants do not understand that and expect the most from the onsite staff.  After living here 3 years.. I can assure you there are limits to what can be done in certain situations and that is unfortunate. When these situations are escalated to the Regional or Operation Managers or even owner of the Franchises...sometimes things take time to get taken care of.  As Tenants...we are unaware of the protocol. We just complain.  However, I have personally experience situations of witnessing Kim (current GM) go out if her way to come up with a solution to any issue given what is in her control to do. I have seen and heard tenants become verbally abusive to the point of becoming close to physical with her and other staff members and that is terrible! My situation was very bad for ME. I do not care to share my personal life here but what I was experiencing was traumatizing to me and in MY opinion put allot if not the whole building in danger...yet again...this was beyond the control of the onsite staff and I knew that from direct communication from the previous GM, Decinda.  That is why I took my concerns to the RM David Jensen.  Kim saw me at a very vulnerable and emotional state and I did share my previous experience with her as to why I was in such fear of what was hapoening here. Kim showed extreme HUMAN compassion to my concerns. The GM hat was off and she helped me as a human being and did all she could to help me feel safe and assure me that things were going to be ok. I understand some may have had different issues. Yes.. The building can be smelly. Yes people are doing things shouldnt, certain individuals can be a nuisance and unruly, loud and obnoxious! But who can really control that? What one person can run to EVERY person who does these things AND has to manage, the staff and take care of new guest and assure them a great experience? I set myself to a high stand in my career and I couldn't do all if that without help from those when needed to make my work more efficient.  My review is to bring awareness to anyone who may have a negative experience and put it on the staff. The staff is NOT fully responsible for the majority of what happens here. I give it 5 stars because I'm treated like one!

There was ample, free parking as I pulled in with a Mexican restaurant just across the parking lot. I knew where dinner was going to be. One less question for the clerk plus I was starving. The night clerk was professional, polite and helpful. The amenities are the same as with all Comfort Suites with free wifi, free breakfast buffet, a fitness center and a seasonal outdoor pool. My room was a nice size with a king bed on the first floor. The room was a comfortable, cool temperature plus extremely clean. The room has a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, flat screen TV and USB ports plus extra pillows. I slept very well and there was very little hall noise for being on the first floor. I prefer the first floor so I can run down for coffee as soon as I wake up. The breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruits, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, bagels, toast, muffins, oatmeal, cereal and make your own waffles. Juices, coffee and milk were also offered. I prefer to have breakfast before getting back on the road. It's less stressful not searching for a decent restaurant close by. I can choose when I prefer to eat between 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. and not have to leave the hotel. If I travel this way again, I'd have no problem staying here again.
