As far as Hampton Inns go this has to be one of my favorites. Of course, in most of the developed cities in Mexico they usually step up the game at least one or two steps as compared to the US because the operators and employees actually care about their jobs and livelihood. The staff all spoke and read English and Spanish seamlessly, and were very courteous and helpful.
The rooms are much nicer than most I stay in while in the US, and even had touch screen thermostats that actually work! I was able to make it fold and adjust the fan which is nice because I'm always hot. There's no microwave in the room, however they do have a nicely sized mini fridge, and serve a very good breakfast for a change (all my favorite breakfast are in Mexico, especially Guadalajara or almost Mexico- El Paso). This hotel is close to the airport, and they even have good coffee to go to brighten your day. I'd say add some barbacoa and some stevia for the coffee along with stay points for crew and this would be a five star kind of place. read more
