What you don't experience is the kind care of the folks who work here. Let's start with CLEAN! Lots of surfaces, lots of wood, and it is all clean and so well maintained. Friendly: the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Always available if you need to call the lift or have a question. Rooms are all furnished with an individual style. Breakfast was great! Just let them know when you think you will head to the dining room and then you order off the menu. Everything we had was great and prepared just for us. My husband was particularly fond of the grits, ordering a double portion once he had tried them! Ip really enjoyed the Cinnamon Toast with Blueberry preserves. Location:Um, did I mention it is right in the midst of Winter Garden? Great spot for walking about and exploring. I also enjoyed grabbing a cup of coffee before breakfast and sitting out front near the Winter Garden fountain, so peaceful. They also have a designated parking lot next to the Inn for cars with tags (which you get a checkin). Highly recommend this spot. If you are put off by having separate hot and cold faucets, maybe pass this up, but if you want an experience and a great stay, definitely check it out and check in!

We were in town for a wedding, and this Marriott was as good as the best we've stayed in. Everything in our room was in working order, the bed was comfortable, and we had enough outlets for electronics. The hotel itself was only 20 minutes from the wedding - a park tucked away in Apopka. We appreciated no parking fee for the night. Breakfast in lobby area Sunday was delicious. Husband had hot scrambled eggs, bacon, & hash browns. He got his favorite juice - orange - but mine was not available - cranberry. I had 2 bowls of Raisin Bran with 2% nonfat milk and a banana. Check out was easy. I didn't catch her name, but she was pleasant and efficient. Should we be in this area in the future, we will return.

My car was not molested. They charge for self-parking 1. We did not take Home 2's bus to the parks as the schedule was poor. We took cabs. 2. The rooms are good. We had 2Q & a sofa bed too. 3. Bathroom was fine. Plenty of hot water. Good towels. WiFi was good. 4. The breakfast was fine. I just wish they served it for more hours, 5. If you're flying into MCO & no car, I'll suggest taking the Mears Shuttle to Coronado Springs & then Taxi to Home 2. 6. The pool area is good. On Thurs.they have Disney movies under the stars. They also have BBQ grills and there's a Target next door where you can purchase food. 7. The parking situation can be improved. Parking close to the hotel is limited. They have a parking garage 5-min walk away. What I did not like was there were cars, consuming limited prime parking spots without the mandatory parking pass.

The rooms and spaces between are clean and an easy check in is always a plus. I don't think you're going to get much better in Clermont for your dollar if you know how to shop. Everything works 24-7. I would recommend that you ask about the TV and the AC as I was confused until I called the front desk...but it is to be expected. If there was a walk to a beach or a massage, I might have given a 5 for the area. It is of course not a resort, but so far so good. I'll update if need be.

It's also disappointing to see so much toxic single use plastic that will end up being incinerated adding to air pollution or end up in the ocean. I was assigned an ADA accessible room - not needed just what I was assigned and that was fine. When I entered, I noticed there was no shower curtain, I thought maybe that it on purpose although it would make quite a mess with the overhead shower and was probably a slip hazard. I figured I would have to use the handheld shower head and ask the next morning. It was late so I did not want to bother the staff. Water still went everywhere but I had extra towels available. The next day I asked the front desk if accessible rooms were supposed to have shower curtains and she said yes, I said Ok well mine does not. She asked for the room number but I explained I do not like people in the room when I am not there and would be back in a couple of hours. She still asked for my room, and I said again I will give it when I get back. When I returned... my room would not open. I had to try 4 times before it finally opened. The lock would turn green but the door would not budge. This happened the rest of the stay as well. I called down, and housekeeping was on my floor, so she came very quickly. I was told that this room should have a curtain and the housekeeping manager is supposed to check every room not sure how this was missed. This was a HUGE slipping hazard, especially if I actually needed the accessible room. I let the front desk know when I left that this was really disappointing and on top of this the "refrigerator" in the room did not cool anything. I had some ice packs with me that helped me keep the water cool the first night but by the second night they were no longer cooling either. The Hampton Inn rooms are usually quite spacious with a long desk and spacious bathroom. This was not it. tiny desk in the corner. The area, is easily accessible, there are tons of restaurants minutes from Marketplace at Altamonte Springs and the Altamonte Springs mall. There is a Cracker Barrel and Waffle House just behind and across the street from the hotel. There are also other hotels to choose from... All in all, I would probably find a different Hampton Inn property or a different hotel brand next time.. Do better.

Old rusty fixtures in the bathroom. Mold in the corner of the bathroom floor. And to top it all off ROACHES crawling on the toilet seat and the sink area where the coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator were. I was highly disgusted and then insulted and falsely accused of wrongdoing by staff and management! Do not waste your money here. Make a reservation somewhere else.
