We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Bedford for our wedding anniversary staycation and it exceeded every expectation. As someone who always brings their own wipes and personally cleans upon check in I was truly impressed with how clean everything was. I always check the wipes after I use them and they were spotless. That gave me instant peace of mind. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we both slept so well. The pool area was very clean and there was even a lifeguard on duty which made it feel even more safe and family friendly. The hotel is in a great location just a quick ride to the mall restaurants and so many fun things to do in the area. Whether you want to shop grab a bite or explore there is plenty nearby to enjoy. We are so happy we chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. It offered the perfect mix of comfort convenience and relaxation. Thank you Hilton for never disappointing. My company in San Diego has another office in Bedford, MA and I needed a place to stay for a week while I was in town for work. I am a Hilton Honors member and the first hotel that came to mind was of course the Hilton. I checked online and noticed that this hotel was recently renovated so I went online and booked a king room. Before leaving San Diego, I selected a room on the Hilton phone app and selected the digital key option. By the time I arrived to town and got to the hotel, my room was ready and I was able to walk straight to it rather than check in at the front desk. The room was very clean and had everything that I needed to make my stay a comfortable one (large screen TV, wi-fi, comfortable bed and pillows, desk, and USB ports to charge my mobile phones). The morning breakfast starts at 6 AM and consists of scrambled eggs, bacon, turkey sausage patties, toast, fruit, yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, coffee, and juice). The food is constantly refreshed so don't worry if you wake up a little late. Nicole and Chris at the front desk are very friendly and personable and every time that I asked them questions or made a purchase, they were always very kind. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Bedford, Burlington, or Billerica area, look no further than the Hampton Inn. I look forward to returning! read more

A little disappointed about this hotel after seeing better than average reviews on various travel sites. First the bad- (1) We had an issue with what looked like a cockroach that was spotted under the opening of a bath tub. Upon showing the video and picture to the night manager, he told my wife it was a cricket and it occasionally happens but was not apologetic. See attached picture and you can decide for yourself. The biggest issue here was not that there was a pest in the room, but was the manager's reaction to it. To be clear, the person at the front desk took it very seriously, but the manager did not. (2) there were metal protrusions from the side of the bed that I bruised myself on. It looks like they attempted to tape them so there would be some padding, but it is not enough when you don't expect something there. See attached picture. (3) it seems we were given an Accessible Room though we clearly did not request for one. This was not a big deal- but we had to find a place for the shower chair, and I hope it did not take away a room from someone who needed one. (4) The tub had a small crack, which is probably why the bottom of the tub had a rusty looking opening. We were fine with showers, but other guests may have wanted to take a bath. As for the good, (1) Except for the one night manager, the rest of the staff was very nice, from the desk to the breakfast staff (2) They have breakfast- a mix of hot and cold options and 24-hour coffee (3) the room had 2 queen beds and a queen convertible sofa, which is the primary reason for us choosing this hotel, as we have 2 teenagers. This is hard to find without getting a suite somewhere. I don't want to tell everyone to stay away because the issues surrounded one room and one night manager, but it would have been nice if they offered to compensate us for the pest. read more

After a couple of consultations with Hilton about the experience that my wife and I had at Hampton Inn, the situation has been resolved satisfactory. The issue of the mattress has, as far as we know, been resolved. The old mattress was moved out and a new one put in. We've also been given a rebate of 50% of our fee, a goodwill gesture offered in light of any inconvenience and confusion regarding what we perceived as the exorbitant amount that was added to our final fee after we changed the date. We are happy now, and we will be pleased to return to Hampton Inn the next time we are looking for lodging! read more

I selected this hotel because it seemed rather quiet but near a lot of stuff, and if I were in charge of their marketing I may keep that description. The hotel is off the road from a traffic light, and has its own parking lot. As of January 2022 construction vehicles are taking some of that space, and signs in the foyer let you know they are in the process of updating. I strongly recommend using the Hilton app - you can "pick your own room", check in, and use your phone as a key card. I use the quotes because I had one choice, and initially sharing a wall with the elevator made me nervous. But fortunately, I didn't hear much of any noise through the walls, just partying in the parking lot. The room itself was very clean. The bed was a little off on the bed frame - that was a surprise sitting down - but all the bedding and towels were clean. There were lights on either side of the bed, and a coffee station above the mini fridge. The bathroom was also pretty clean, although the toilets are small enough for a fourth grader. I'm convinced the chain picked up a surplus from financially struggling primary schools, or maybe just has no idea most of their customers are taller... The lobby sells snacks and drinks, and has displays on their side of the front door. They also have a coffee station, and some soft chairs to sit in if you're waiting. They have a late checkout of noon (and I still missed the complimentary breakfast). Overall, would definitely stay again if I was in the area! Cleanliness means the most to me. read more

Stayed for a week at this location. Parking is plentiful and comes at no charge. The property could use a renovation as it's dated and showing the wear of the years. The floors in the room squeak/pop. The room was sufficient, clean, and comfortable. The television had plenty of channels including HBO 1 and 2. Breakfast was pretty good and always well stocked. I'd still stay again if I were in the area, to accumulate Hilton Honors points. read more

One of the best hotel stays I've had. Very clean, spacious room with modern decor and microwave/frig. Bed was extremely comfortable as were the 4 large pillows. Free breakfast was very good with an assortment of items including various fresh pressed fruit juices, fruit/yogurt smoothies and fresh fruit in addition to the standard offerings of hot/cold cereals, waffle bar, eggs, bacon, etc. Lobby also has coffee/tea/hot chocolate station that is stocked and available 24/7. Staff were efficient, polite and professional. I got a top floor end room, by chance, which I appreciated greatly. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in the area. read more

Comfortable beds (on the soft side) and a clean room sometimes is all you need. Front desk service was decent but could have been more informative about the amenities - didn't even mention that there was a complimentary breakfast. We did get to try the breakfast on our last day. There is hot food, which is usually a plus! The little omelettes definitely seem like warmed up frozen food. The only meat option was Canadian bacon that was just ok. You have options of pancakes or pour your own waffles with two kinds of batter. Waffles are the way to go! They are stocked with a variety of cereals, pastries, coffees and juices! The front desk area also has an expansive area with snacks for purchase which is convenient in a bind but definitely a tad over-priced. We were in Massachusetts for work and decided to stay a night in Hampton Inn in Bedford. Overall a good hotel, with clean room, bathrooms and towels.! The bed was comfortable, pillows were okay not comforting, as they were extra soft and we don't like it personally. The complimentary breakfast was good, had different good options from fresh juices, bread, omelet etc. We enjoyed it. Overall hotel structure seemed to be little old, but a good place with decently priced rooms for a short stay. Only downside that we felt during our stay, the lady at reception was not informative. She was welcoming and friendly but, not informative. When we arrived, she checked us in quickly and handed over the key. However, dint bother to guide us which floor is our room? We don't live here to find ourselves. When guest arrives, remember either they would have traveled by driving 100s of miles or flew by long flights and they will be tired, it's hotel stuffs responsibility to make them feel comfortable.. Anyhow, we had to ask this lady which floor and then got the answer. Little extra effort would have earned that fifth star.! read more

I read the reviews ahead of time so I knew to ask the registration desk not to put me on the 4th floor. The double queen non smoking room #225 was very spacious, clean, and included a pull out sofa bed. At night it is possible to hear foot steps of the room above you. It wasn't a problem for us, but if you have very inconsiderate neighbors, I could see that being a real problem. However, they also included a pair of ear plugs on the night stand. I think that's the first time I've seen that at a hotel. Thoughtful. I am an HHonors member but wasn't given any water nor was it provided in the room. I had to ask for some water from the front desk but they gave me two bottles without any problems. Not a big deal since water is available in the fitness room anyway. Overall nice place and on par with many of the other Hampton Inns I have stayed at. Loved the ear plugs. read more

The hotel itself is very comfortable and clean but as for accommodations this Hampton Inn is not very helpful. The internet barely works if at all, it drained the battery of my phone almost right away in the work out room as it was trying to gain wifi signal. There is no room service for late night arrivers and no healthy options beyond fruit at the "snack station" near the front desk. The tv remote was too gross to touch and the continental breakfast is also not great, the fruit tastes weird and the oatmeal is watery. I am staying here for a work trip and would not return on my personal time. Not worth the price of over $200/night. read more

Stayed here a few nights last week for convention in Boston. Check in took a couple minutes with no hassles and a friendly front desk person. Room with two double beds was HUGE with a pull out couch, coffee table, big flatscreen tv, microwave, and mini fridge. The room was clean the the beds comfortable. The bathroom was big and clean with all the toiletries you could need. Shower was nice and hot. Good selection of free breakfast food. Really good coffee and tea. I stayed here for a couple nights. The rooms here are pretty big, clean and the bathroom is very roomy. They have a lot of amenities, such as free breakfast from 6a-10a, and even a packaged to go version of the breakfast if you don't have time to sit down and eat. The room itself was clean and well decorated. Staff was courteous, however, echoing the other guests comments, the smoke smell was unbearably strong in the hallways on the 4th floor. I stayed at this hotel because during a snowstorm to be near my work. I was absolutely impressed not only with the hotel but the employees as well. My room was warm and cozy and the bed with enormous!! It snowed continuously all night and when I woke up at 5am to get ready for work, they were already cleaning off my car! No other hotel Ive ever been to has ever done that, well worth it! Breakfast was ready as I was leaving. Overall, it was a tremendous experience and I want to thank Kate N, who works there, for helping me with my room. I will absolutely be staying there again!! read more

This place is new since the last time I was in the area, but I'm not too sure how new. Front desk clerk was nice. The first room they put me in (Room 101) had clearly been smoked in. It was supposed to be non-smoking so I went back to the desk and the room was exchanged without question. Hampton is doing the new thing where they try and make sure it is all about the bed. It sure pays off. The bed was great. Nice linens, perfect firmness. Breakfast was included. It was a typical continental style deal. They had a bacon and egg open faced sandwich on a bagel that was way above average for a free breakfast. Overall, a nice stay. It is great seeing these mid-priced hotels get more focused on making sure you have a pleasant stay. read more

I want to give this hotel a better rating but the smell was unbearable. As soon as I walked in my room, my eyes became watery. I woke up in the middle of the night and decided I could not stay another day. The hotel makes me think of being in the house of a chronic smoker...you know the way the smoke has seeped into the furniture, carpet and walls....but the smoker is oblivious!!! We took a road trip from Chicago to Boston and chose this hotel because the other user reviews were fantastic. We called the hotel at 2AM and asked if we could check in earlier as we were 6 hours away and would rather sleep in a bed then sleep in a car. The associate at the desk said it wasn't a problem as he had plenty of rooms. Upon arrival to the hotel we went to the desk and asked to check in. The rude woman at the desk told us check in wasn't until 3pm and that all of her rooms were full. Upon telling her what the gentleman on the phone said earlier and that he told me he would put a note in the file. She said she couldn't help me and that I needed to come back at 3pm. What kind of service is that? We drove through the night in order to get a nice shower and sleep in a bed because we were told we could check in and then having someone tell you that your SOL. I generally hate staying at Hampton Inns, but this one worked out for my trip to Boston. I was beyond pleasantly surprised by it. My room was huge, the bed was great, included a fridge and microwave and because it's pretty new it was immaculate. The only thing missing is a hotel bar. I am up in the air with this place. Most of the staff are amazing, especially Jason(promote him to assistant manager). The breakfast is the best out of every hotel. The gym is sanitized frequently. The rooms are big, the lamp lights are the best, they have an outlet plug and a USB plug. Everything is all tidy, the housekeeping staff are nice. This place is clean and very nice. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I had originally planned on staying across the street at the Double Tree, but they were all booked, and I wasn't too happy about having to stay here. But, I was wrong. The front desk staff is great. They are super nice and helped me find a good place to order dinner because it was late when I got in. The room is very large and updated - very comfortable bed, big flat screen tv, clean and new, etc. The bathroom was also quite large, and it had a shower with great pressure. The free breakfast was also pretty good. It's rare that I can drink hotel coffee, but theirs was pretty good. I would definitely stay here again. read more

Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives. We are HHonors members, we won't be back. Negatives: oversold & sold our room. We were not placed in a comparable room. Person checking me in, Bob, made NO attempt to correct, or offer a discount on what was their choice to move us. No attempt to contact us prior to our check-in regarding this change. We went from two beds to a single bed because "there was a high demand for the two queen beds". As a matter of fact the keys had our original room we'd selected written on. Showing they chose to give that room to someone else after we'd already reserved it. Being rewards members allowed us to choose our room the day in advance, so we were very disappointed to find that this "perk" means nothing. We specifically chose this hotel because it was a HHonors member & we got this perk. We evidently got the lowest room possible to give out. Handicap tub required I removed a seat that occupied 1/2 of the tub before anyone could use the shower. Knowing we did not request a handicapped room, they could have done this prior to our arrival. Shower had poor pressure. People above us were stomping around. We could hear the elevator. None of this would have been an issue if they'd put me in the room I specifically booked, which was on the top floor away from the elevators. Keys wouldn't work to my "new" room. Bob had to send someone up to unlock the door. This employee told me "these keys are terrible they don't work well at all". Breakfast was a joke. Plates & plastic ware are on the opposite end of the dining room from the food - causing everyone to bump into each other as they had to keep crossing the room in between chairs & tables. There was no oatmeal, about 6 tablespoons of scrambled eggs. No batter to make waffles. And no water (all the pitchers were empty). Considering they were more than happy to charge me full price for a room I didn't request - we won't ever be back. I'll stay at one of the 2 hotels next door. This hotel is located just outside of Boston in a quiet area close to the freeway. The hotel is clean and quiet. Bed is comfortable. The staff is friendly. Free hot breakfast and Wi-Fi. This is a new facility. Similar to most Hampton Inns but with some nice additional features. Our two-queen suite was spacious enough for 5. The front desk staff was awesome. The breakfast was the only disappointment; even by Hampton Inn standards the eggs were bland. Convenient to Boston College, about 25 mins away but all highway miles. read more

The location is a bit out of the way but the trip is WORTH it if you're looking for something in the Boston suburbs. I have made frequent trips to boston and stayed maybe 5 different hotels. It had good reviews on travelocity and it was a bit skeptical but when I stayed there, I realized that they were all true. The place was relatively new, clean, not so crowded like some place. Breakfast was good and the next morning when we checked out, I guess one of the two elevators didn't work. but the front desk said sorry for the incident even before I realized of the situation. It's not the cheapest place outside boston but certainly worth a few extra money to stay in. I am not giving 5 because it's not the luxury hotel, but it deserves 5 star among its category of inns outside boston. read more

It would be unfair to describe this place as a shitehole but neither is it terribly appealing. Our room had a faint but noticeable and persistent smell of sweaty socks. The interior is getting tired and dated. The building seems to be of wood construction and so every movement of the people above you resounds below, keeping you awake. The AC unit clunks on and off, ensuring you stay awake after the tenants above you finally go to sleep. Again, it's not the absolute worst place we've been (that award goes to a small horrendous hotel outside the SeaTac airport we stayed at once for a parking no deal) but we won't be back. I'd avoid. Spend a few extra bucks on something nicer. read more

My boyfriend and I booked a standard room with king size bed through Expedia yesterday for last night. After a three hour drive to the hotel, we were greeted at the desk by a very unenthusiastic attendant at about 10:00 pm. She did not ask for our ID's or even a credit card to keep on file for damages, she just asked for my last name and handed us a room key booklet with a post-it note with someone else's name written on it (that she took off quickly). We then informed her that she didn't even put the room keys in the booklet -- she begrudgingly gave us a pair of room keys. We went up to "our" room joking that it would be unfortunate if it was someone else's room. Well the joke got real, as we barged in on an unsuspecting couple at about 10:15pm. It was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. We immediately went back to the desk to figure out what was going on. The same unenthused and unapologetic desk attendant double checked my last name and then informed us that the hotel was overbooked and that our reservation had been transferred to the Radison hotel about 15 minutes away. Upon arrival to the Radison, we were informed that the desk attendant purchased the cheapest room available for us, which was less than we paid for the room at the Hampton Inn. We received no refund for the difference and are extremely unsatisfied with how the Hampton Inn handled this situation and will be contacting corporate to discuss this situation. read more

Amazing! Went here to visit some colleges and it was wonderful. Great customer service! As well as clean rooms and the breakfast food is delicious! Has an outside pool and is in a great location! Very quiet and peaceful stay. (has a lot of complementary stuff) Safe for everyone. Affordable and reasonable. I give this one 5 stars because it is absolutely the best hotel stay I ever had! read more
