The services come to adjacent platform and one can literally jump onto your connecting service. The station is standard and nothing exceptional but is an important interchange for many commuters from Northwest travelling to / from Canary Wharf or London Bridge as part of their daily commute. This is also the first stop for the morning southbound peak time services after Harrow-on-the-hill. The Finchley and Frognal station is a 10 min walk away if you wish to get into an overground service. However, you need to swipe out and swipe in. Almost forgot, this is where the 'underground' really starts and the southbound trains get into the tunnels causing phone connections to terminate. This is where most of the commuters get back on their phones on the way back from work In the evening, you can see literally everyone taking out their phone when the train reaches Finchley Road.
