Had to get a bus to edgware which is a long route. All in all a very bad service today I'm afraid you might just as well not bothered opening if you are going to discriminate against edgware passengers or was it just sheer laziness?

Anyway, yeah, it's a fairly typical station in Inner London, though it seems that it is on the subsurface tube (which no doubt was actually built before this area was built up). The station is a perfect spot to change between a Metropolitan and Jubilee line service - South…read morebound or north bound. The services come to adjacent platform and one can literally jump onto your connecting service. The station is standard and nothing exceptional but is an important interchange for many commuters from Northwest travelling to / from Canary Wharf or London Bridge as part of their daily commute. This is also the first stop for the morning southbound peak time services after Harrow-on-the-hill. The Finchley and Frognal station is a 10 min walk away if you wish to get into an overground service. However, you need to swipe out and swipe in. Almost forgot, this is where the 'underground' really starts and the southbound trains get into the tunnels causing phone connections to terminate. This is where most of the commuters get back on their phones on the way back from work In the evening, you can see literally everyone taking out their phone when the train reaches Finchley Road.

So, it turns out that I am now back in the part of the city where pretty much all of the stations…read moreare now underground. That pretty much has a lot to do with the fact that the city is pretty old, but then again they never really stopped other countries from flattening their innercities. We specifically came here because we purchased a Eurostar train ticket to Paris. From arriving, to checking in, going through customs, it was very organized and people paid attention. It wasn't chaos as it tends to get in the US. The whole process to getting on and off the train was a piece of cake-definitely not stressful at all. If you are trying to get to Paris, Amsterdam, or any outer cities near London, this is the place to be when needing to take a train. I highly recommend Eurostar since it is a high speed train and will get you to your next destination fairly quick. If you are not planning to leave the city, I still recommend checking it out since it is a beauty and I heard, Harry Potter was filmed here.

Wembley Park is rocking on a match day or for a concert, and then on other days it's slow and sleepy and serves a little windswept community of middle-income Northwest Linden. Match days are when it comes alive and I love it here at both times. It's amazing although I really really miss the old school Wembley, which I was thrilled to visit a very long time ago when I was a very young child by myself - but don't tell my parents - to see a Michael Jackson concert.

In the summer there are hanging flower baskets full of colour. Such a rare occurrence at a tube station. The staff are always polite even if sometimes the gate is closed and I can't spy them in the station. The back entrance is not open all the time so I have been caught out trying to get to the tube with no where to get in. There is a small coffee shop outside the main entrance but it's not big as most people wait and walk the few minutes to Brent Cross. Not a bad station if I say so myself.

It's a short (null) list because the only times I get to Camden Town Tube are to change from one branch to the other. Exiting a perfectly good Northern Line train so that I can stand on a platform and wait for one that's actually taking the branch I want. It seems that every time I want the Edgware Branch, the trains are all for High Barnett. Or if I want High Barnet branch, well, you get the point. It's easy enough to switch from one to the other and I do have to admit that they've gotten the signage right so the tourists don't spin in circles trying to figure it out. What's the deal with exit only on weekends? I mean, WHY?
