The staff are friendly and polite and there are plenty of options on the menu - you can literally have a steak at 10am if you wish (this happened). I opted for scrambled egg, beans, bacon and brown toast. The order came fried egg, sausage, beans and toast so I had to send it back. Once I received the correct order I started eating. The egg was rubbery and bacon very fatty so I didn't overly enjoy it BUT I got my scrambled egg and brown toast so there you go! The Greenroom cafe/bakery has been there for years and will remain an institution but it's just not my cup of tea.

I love the Parkin that they make and wish they sold it all year round. They have a small cafe which sells drinks, sandwiches, pies etc (all from the shop stock) You might struggle to get a table if you go in on a Saturday but it's worth the wait. I've also purchased celebration cakes from here and they are lovely. They can put pictures on for you and can usually accommodate any strange requests for decoration that you might have!
