Well, I just got off the phone with Dr. Sharma at Hamilton Physicians Group. She was rude and accusatory to me, after her staff has bungled my referrals for 2-mos. No kidding. She said sometimes mistakes happen and taht I should understand. I said I did not understand when those mistakes happen for two months. This is not the first time that my health has suffered because of their bungling staff. They make appointments incorrectly, send registered letters form the doctor to the wrong address (3x), and cannot fax paperwork to another office. Since these mundane adminsitrative tasks are so challenging for them, they should not attenpt anythign as complex as practicing medicine. That's it. I have a new doctor at a new practice. HPG is filled with rude and pompous mediocre doctors and stupid staff. read more

The staff is horrible! The doctors Medicare at best! This office is nothing like it use to be. I've been seeing doctors here for 15 plus years and it has changed tremendously! I've finally had it. Changing doctors and office immediately. I was sticking to it out of comfort after moving away from this area but I simply cannot take it any longer. I'm sure I'm not the only one disgusted with this office for so many reasons I don't have time to write. If you've been here, you know they're lacking too much to mention. If this is one of your choices bc you're in the area, pick another, any other!!! You'll regret choosing this office! read more

I left the practice after several years of being a patient. I frequently had issues scheduling appointments and with billing.

The doctors are good, when you finally see them. But their staff is rude and unresponsive. You'll also be looking at a long wait time - at least 90 minutes. read more

Terrible customer service! Billing issues because they do not submit the claim to the insurance company and then send your bill to a collection agency without an attempt to get in touch with you besides paper mail. Insurance company confirmed that no claim was received. Additionally, it is difficult to get appointments, especially for yearly physical/well exam without planning months in advance. Disappointed, especially since it is a large group of physicians. As soon as my billing/insurance claim error is fixed, I am switching doctors! Oh , and when asked how I will receive follow-up about my insurance claim error (on their part), I was told that I could call back in a month or so to follow-up. read more

the staff (check in, medical assistant and nurse practitioner) were all very pleasant and accommodating. the wait time (early afternoon on a week day) was quite short for a walk-in service. before I went, I even called to see if they'd tell me the wait time and the person I spoke to was kind enough to let me know how many patients were there. the facilities were clean and comfortable. I liked that they had a "well" patient waiting area separate from one for sicker patients, so I had less of a chance of being exposed to different contagious illnesses. read more

Do not go here. This place has been getting worse for the past 5 years. The best part of this practice is that they used to have walk in hours. They have gotten ride of that and now you must make appointments only. Do not try and make an appointment when you are sick because they can only book out about 2-3 days out. Additionally, do not complain about any ailments during your yearly well visit appointment because they will double bill you for that visit and you will have to pay a copay for your visit. Apparently many primary doctors are following this practice to make more money, but this practice does it more regularly according to my insurance company. Additionally the staff are rude and the doctors are inexperienced. Dr. Sharma is the worst doctor that I have every met and is rude and abrupt. Look for another practice. read more

Rude! Ashley in particular is at times angry and unprofessional. Pretty much you cannot move forward with a real concern unless you are willing to go back numerous times $$ for tests that are not necessary. Once you reach a quota of visits, I'm assuming one might get respect, a true review of your concerns and proper medical treatment. read more

The doctors are mediocre at best, so you would think they wouldn't be so rude. Mistakes have been made that I've overlooked. Recently, I called to ask for topical ointment to be prescribed (minor skin irritation) being I'm out of town and caring for a sick family member. They told me to go find an urgent care. This is not the place to go if you're looking for a kind, caring environment with a personal feel. read more

The first time I went to HPG, I waited roughly two and a half hours to be seen. The second time I waited less time, however I was treated twice as the WRONG PATIENT. What does this mean? Well I came to HPG to address a small rash I had been dealing with. When I sat down in the office a nurse came in a began to give me a flu test, confused, I told her I was here for a rash and she ignored me and continued to go through with the test. When she left the room to ask another nurse a question i overhear, "No the flu test is for patient 2 and the strep test is for patient 3, the girl in room 6 is here for a rash!" Well the nurse must have still not registered this as she came in to give me a strep test. She actually FORCED THE STREP TEST ON ME, which caused me to gag out of sheer terror, and because she didn't listen to me either time, my natural reaction was to grab her arm and yell at her! I literally pulled her hand out of my throat with the swab. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. NEVER go to HPG. They are rude and idiotic. If the medical staff wasn't incompetent enough, the front desk is cross and lacks customer service. I learned more about the front desk persons home life via a private cell phone call she loudly took at the desk, than I even know about some of my closest friends. DISGUSTING. read more

Absolutely horrible! If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst office ever. You can't get a referral for your life. I have gotten numerous letters from my insurance company and also specialists saying I owe them money because HPG never sent the referral I requested. Everytime you call to request a referral you have to speak to a voicemail. A phone call back won't be received for at least a week and a half. It isn't until you call and go on a tirade on the voicemail message that they magically call you back within 10 minutes. I've had specialists even call me and say that they will get in touch with them personally to request the referral, only for them to call me back and say they didn't have any luck speaking with a person either, even after attempting to contact the office manager. My favorite was when I called for an emergency appointment and was told to go to the hospital by the "on call doctor" and ended up being hospitalized for a week in two different hospitals. Afterward they criticized me because they never saw me in person, even after advising them it was their own doctor that told me to go to the ER. I wouldn't even send people I don't like here. Now I have to wait to change primary doctors because I have an outstanding referral request that has not been sent yet. The referral request was sent before my specialist visit on 4/4/12, it is now 6/18/12 and it still hasn't been sent. Even after numerous phone calls (which finally got returned) stating they were going to send the referral right away. This place is an absolute joke. Once this last referral gets settled, and I hopefully stop getting the letters from specialists stating I owe them money, I will no longer set foot in this building unless it's to take my patient file to another office. read more
