For $70, the quality and firmness is very good. The mattress is even flip-able, a feature that is not common nowadays, and can extend the useful life of the mattress. The second reason for the 5 stars rating is the selection. There are 3 models of twin mattress in the showroom. All of them are within my budget of $200. The nicest one costs $200, and it looks like something that would cost more somewhere else. I went to another mattress stores before I came to Springmade. There was only one mattress on sale under $200. One note to people interested in buying a mattress at Springmade: all the prices are HST inclusive, and you can pay by major credit cards. Joe is the owner. If you want to, you can negotiate the price with him directly. I didn't bother to negotiate cause $70 was cheap enough. Thank you, Yelp, for leading me to Springmade.

They were having a sale on Serta stuff, so we scored a great deal on an amazing pillow top and the fella helping us managed to get us a base and some comfy pillows thrown into the deal. I left feeling like I got exactly what I wanted at a good price. Can't beat that. Delivery was equally painless. They called me on the morning of delivery to give me a three hour window and then brought the bed precisely when they said they would. The delivery guys hiked it up the stairs and set it up in no time flat, pleasant as can be. I will absolutely go to Sleep Country next time I need a mattress.

Extremely disappointing experience with National Mattress…read more I purchased a NEW Sealy Posturepedic mattress from National Mattress and paid more than $400 for delivery. When Day & Ross attempted delivery, the shipment was in poor condition. More importantly, the mattress itself was visibly soiled and damaged, including the pillow-top fabric. I took photographs documenting the condition. I refused delivery because I had ordered a new mattress and was not prepared to accept one in that condition. The mattress was taken back by Day & Ross and was never accepted or used by me. I immediately contacted National Mattress customer support, provided photographs, and requested a full refund, including the $400+ delivery charge. I initially received no meaningful response despite following up. After I posted a Google review, the owner of National Mattress responded publicly, acknowledging that the condition of the mattress did not meet their standards and stating that someone would contact me regarding my refund. A National Mattress store representative subsequently called me. I again explained that I had refused delivery and had photographs documenting the condition. The representative told me that he was unaware of what was happening with customer support and was not aware of my previous correspondence or photographs. I was then told that National Mattress would not process my refund until Day & Ross returned the mattress to National Mattress. I find the handling of this situation appalling. I purchased and paid for a NEW mattress, refused delivery because it arrived visibly soiled and damaged, and never accepted or used it. I understand that National Mattress may want to investigate the shipment with Day & Ross, but that is an issue between National Mattress and its delivery partner. It should not require me to wait for their carrier investigation before receiving my refund. I am seeking a full refund of everything I paid, including the $400+ delivery charge. I have initiated a credit-card dispute and filed a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario. I will update this review if and when the matter is finally resolved.

I was desperate because my nerves were raw from days of sleep deprivation & fitful sleep. When they finally came to deliver the mattress, they did not use a professional delivery service. But it seemed like it was their family members who did the delivering. One guy arrived on time & the other guy was late. The guy who did arrive had the nerve to ask me if I could help!
