we hired Paula at Halo electric to do some work on a property we just purchased . she had done work here prior to us buying it. Three months into what was supposed to be to be a 2-3 week job, we have discovered no permits were pulled until month three. when hydro inspected it, since it raised a red flag when the permit was pulled, it was discovered the entire job failed. We were instructed to get a new electrician and start over. As well Paula used someone from penticton to pull the permit as she isn't qualified to do so. Unknown to us. We are out money and lost 3 months, and want to warn everyone who uses this company to check your permits and what is being done. We were told everything was done wrong. And she told us we had been inspected and we had not. The authorities are now involved.
Be careful. We are sitting with live wires and no permits. read more
