My fiance ordered flowers for me for Valentine's Day. I know this because they called me instead of him to say they do not deliver to Hughesville as it is "outside of their 20 mile delivery radius" (although, they stated it's only 17 miles and their website clearly says they deliver to Hughesville.) So not only did they ruin a suprise and refuse to deliver the order, but they continue to text my number instead of his to argue after when he called to confront them about this. I had literally nothing to do with any of this, other than I was supposed to be receiving flowers, but instead received a bunch of bs.
After posting this review, they responded-"Thank you for this review, I will be happy to respond to. The phone# that was listed on the order if we have any questions was the one we called. He put the wrong phone#. As stated in my website, we do deliver to these areas if they are within delivery mileage. this order is not. I accommodated him by forwarding to a local florist who wanted more money. Called to ask if he wanted to cancel the order or place the order with local florist. I was cursed at and argued with. I am happy to not do business with this customer."
In response to her response: this is basically how the conversation went...
"We don't deliver to Hughesville, idk why our website says that. Oh well, we do deliver to Hughesville but only if it's within 20 miles. Oh you're not 14 miles away, you're 17 miles away and we don't deliver that far. You can pay someone else more to do it if you want."
We are right in town... not outside of Hughesville, not near Hughesville but IN Hughesville. Seems like a simple solution, don't advertise that you deliver somewhere you don't. Obviously, you do not want any business because you just keep making yourself look worse by continue to argue when you are wrong! My fiance probably wouldn't have had a problem ordering from the other local shop if you had just paid attention to the order, not already ruined the surprise and maybe apologized for doing so. Also, nobody cursed at you, though I really have some words for you at this point. I asked you to stop texting me and you continued to do so. You messed up. You're a business owner. Take responsibility. And refund the order that you cancelled! read more
