We stopped in Dordrecht, the oldest city in the Netherlands, on a cold and overcast day in December. Unfortunately, it was a Monday, and many of the shops and ateliers were closed. Our guide, Kristina, took us past the old city center, the harbors and past the Grote Kerk. We ended at Hallo Dordrecht, which was one of the few shops open, and it had a nice variety of souvenirs, crafts, gifts and (thankfully) free restrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. read more
