The repairs exceeded the $1500 threshold that provides an option for the seller to withdraw and receive earnest money back if they should choose. After deciding to cancel the contract, the seller's agent refused to acknowledge the cancellation claiming that I "obtained these estimates fraudulently." She also suggested that earnest money should not be returned to me and proceeded to slander myself and my agent. Unable to resolve this dispute I decided to hire Shaun to enforce the real estate contract as written. Shaun immediately reviewed all the pertinent details and provided me with the confidence needed to resolve this dispute quickly. He began the intervention with the seller's agent providing the facts of the situation and the contract itself. Within 24 hours after speaking with the seller's agent, the entire concern was dropped from their side, the cancellation had been accepted and earnest money scheduled to return. Shaun Cusack's sense of urgency, attention to detail, and application of the law are unmatched. I would recommend him every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Loosing that would have changed my entire family's lives in a very negative way. My best friend passed away from an asthma attack and I was then searched and they found a pound of cannibal oil. I was then charged with Manufacture with intent to deliver Cannabis. They also tried to charge me with a drug induced homicide because we were smoking pot. After months of fighting them, the homicide portion dropped off. I was then just being charged with the Manufacture with intent. I then tried to get a first timers probation (410) agreement and the states attorney denied because of an ATH of pot I had been charged with as a juvenile. Jim talked with friends of his and came up with TASC probation that if completed, could wipe the record of being charged with a felony entirely. I was then charged with what I was accused of and received 24 months of adult intense probation. Jim put it in the agreement to review for possible early termination at 12 months. 12 months to the day there was Jim, ready to make it happen for me. Jim persuaded the states attorney to allow a successful early termination by 12 months! HALF! Jim didn't stop there. With TASC probation you then have to file a motion to have the record wiped and vacate the conviction. So what does Jim do? Without me even needing to appear in court, Jim represented me and successfully persuaded the states attorney and the judge to VACATE THE ENTIRE CONVITCTION. When choosing a lawyer Jim and Amanda as a team are second to none. They will fight for you in a way to bring results. They understand and they care. Jim is truly an incredible lawyer skilled in the art of influencing others. LeFante law also has the man power to make you feel as if you are there only client. There were many instances when I called the office and was told he was not in and that they would leave a message for him to get back to me and he did not. He prides himself in giving out his mobile phone number to his clients, but getting ahold of him was not much better than calling his office. His voicemail (both for the office and his mobile phone) were almost always full. I sometimes went months without hearing back from him even when I was told I would hear from him within the week. I practically had to hound and beg him and the office anytime I needed to communicate anything relating to my case. The only real time I was able to communicate with him was after complaining about the lack of communication between us. Communication was better for a fewweeks, but then the problems continued soon after. Additionally, I had several medical bills that went to collections and are now hurting my credit because he and his office overlooked them when going over my case, even though I had supplied his office with every medical bill I had received. When I conformed him about my concerns he became upset and accused me of misrepresenting him. He got my money though, so I suppose that's all that truly mattered to him. I originally went in for relief from back discomfort. After a neck adjustment, I developed severe cluster headaches and ongoing nerve issues in my neck/shoulder area that still affect me years later. My neck and shoulders have remained prone to irritation and reinjury. At the time, I went back and told them I was having severe issues after the adjustment. I remember being very uncomfortable with the idea of another neck adjustment, but my neck was adjusted again anyway, and I was sent on my way. I never pursued it formally, and I regret that. But based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone against allowing neck/head adjustments here. I felt like my concerns were not taken seriously, and I personally would never go back.
