Expensive, but we get what we want and it is still less expensive than going to a restaurant for the similar quality of food. Ambiance - Again, one of the largest Monoprix in this area. Upscale. See pictures. We actually opened a loyalty card to become a member to take advantage of the discounts. Message me if you have questions. Service - Self service. Price - Above average, also in a tourist area. So expect to pay accordingly. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1932. I also noticed some acquisitions in 1996 and 1997. Congrats with your 5 brands, approximately 400 locations, 250 in France and the rest abroad.

Yelp Review 2026 #205:…read more I was on a mission to get some French butter. I did my research and people were saying to go to Monoprix to get some French butter. It was so crowded. It was overwhelming. I spotted the fridge section that has beurre. But I wanted to check out other food items and snacks they had. But with all the people in there, I gave up and went back to the butter section. They have several brands but not the brands I was looking for. They didn't have a variety of flavors either. It was either salted or unsalted butter. So, I left empty handed.

Its gentle buzz, colors and scents exude an authentic south-of-France vibe, simplicity, and ease. Surrounded by open spaces, coffee shops, specialty stores, and restaurants, it is a quaint market that embodies the essence of local life and the true spirit of Provencale - showcasing a blissful array of artisanal goods and fresh produce: flowers, fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, lavender, cheeses (love the truffle cheeses!), a variety of olives and colorful flavored salts, plants, fresh seafood, meats, oils, baked goodies, unique specialties and lots of foods to try and enjoy. The merchants are easy to talk to. I'd gladly keep coming back here.

If you're staying in the area and looking to cook I think this is a suitable location to pick up some products. Opening hours are 7:30am-1pm everyday except Mondays. The surrounding adjacent shops include a variety of restaurants, cafes and other retailers, and the market is also within a 5 min walk to the Picasso museum and about 10-15 min walk to the harbor area. No bathrooms though there are nearby public restrooms available. Tip: During winter months vendors tend to start packing up a bit earlier since there's less foot traffic.
