After cleaning the vents and dryer and full dryer troubleshooting, we contacted At Your Service Pros (kudos to the Costco-dispatched tech for noticing the extremely hot circuit breaker). At Your Service was very flexible on appointment times, and one of their techs, Kyle, came out to service the home. Kyle reproduced and diagnosed the issue to the circuit breaker. Not only did he fix the circuit breaker, but he also noticed some of the wiring needed to be placed at the service panel, which he did as well. He also checked the other breakers while he was out there and made sure the dryer outlet was okay. Lo and behold, the dryer works perfectly now. Thanks Kyle and At Your Service for getting this issue fixed and for taking a larger look at the panel to make sure things look okay. I asked him about someone I could trust to check my furnace (as I had smelled gas) and my water heater. I would like to add that both furnace and water heater are from 1994, that's 28 years ago. While I feared the worst that Will would tell me I needed a new furnace and water heater he came over and spent a lot of time checking everything. He explained everything he was checking and found really nothing that was broken. He also found no gas leak with his meters. We talked about the age of the units but to my surprise and extreme happiness he basically said "if it aint broke, then don't fix it! I asked Will to replace my thermostat which was the old mercury kind and came with the 1994 unit and he brought a brand new digital thermostat. Setting it on the wall with extreme care and a wall mount all was good. I was so so impressed with his work ethic, his personality, his great job. About an hour later I felt like I was in a hot spa. It was suddenly 76 degrees in the house. I called him and we decided to reset but it got even worse and reached what looked like 78 degrees. I called him again. I knew he was fully booked but asked him to please please please come back and replace the obviously defective unit I had purchased from him. A couple hours later he was at my door with a brand new thermostat , set it up and its been PERFECT ever since. He did not charge me to come back, and his price for labor was super fair. It was so fair I felt he deserved a monetary tip and I was happy to do that. Of course he told me I didn't have to do that but seemed truly grateful. Based on my experience with Monarch Air and Will, I will never give a thought to ever using anyone else. My daughter and I purchased a home a little over a year ago and only have about 7 months left of a warranty for parts on our furnace. The furnace is only 4 years old, however we are not the original owners who had the home built in 2022 which is why the warranty is almost over. Our furnace started making a horrible noise and then all of a sudden it stopped. We called another company to come out and look at it. They told us that the blower motor cage had cracked due to faulty manufacturing and the blower motor basically fell off and broke. After getting a list of authorized service/warranty providers from the manufacturer, we called CTR heating and air. They worked with us and the manufacturer to try to process a claim on the warranty but it was a nightmare! We were getting no help from the manufacturer and we were stuck. We finally got it resolved, after about 2.5 weeks, and ended up having to go through the initial installer when the home was built. Here is where the review gets good! Even though we actually didn't end up going through CTR, their constant communication, repeated attempts to resolve with the manufacturer and their daily updates/ communication with me was outstanding! Never once did I have to reach out to them for an update. They always contacted me first! When we communicated, it was always extremely professional and very customer service centered. They provided much needed recommendations for the future and were very patient with us and the situation, and never got frustrated even though it was taking so long. Even after all the work they put in for us, when we advised them that we were going to have to go through the original installer, they STILL remained professional and wished us well, hoping that everything would work out on our favor! What an amazing and incredible company! I'm only allowed to give 5 stars, but if I could, I would absolutely give them at 10! Would 100% recommend CTR as they are friendly, helpful, professional, and honest!!

I was getting a constant error code and could not resolve it following the manual. When Randy arrived, I detailed all that I had done to that point. We ran uninterrupted hot water for 30 minutes with no fail (error code). I said maybe it settled down and asked Randy what my charge was for his coming over. He said "You did everything I would have to fix it, so no service charge"! Unbelievable! A week later, the error code was back (and no reliable hot water). Randy came out again, checked everything on the units intake/exhaust system and found no reason for the error code. He dug in further and found a dip switch that was not set up correctly by the original installer. He spent 90 minutes working on the unit, ran a test with all faucets running hot water at the same time, and it worked perfectly. This time, I ask what I owed for his professional service and he said "our regular service call fee . . . $75.00". Every other company in Salt Lake would have charged that (or more) as their portal-to-portal hourly fee! Everyone at Brozwood was smart, efficient, professional, and really made me feel like their only customer. I'll call them again for and HVAC/Plumbing issues in the future and I'll recommend them to anyone that asks for a help with their home.
