The store is clean and organized, with everything from higher-end sunglasses to fun trinkets, souvenirs, and so many stickers for your cooler! Everything seems reasonably priced, and the staff is incredibly friendly. But one of the best parts of stopping in is meeting Salty the dog! Salty loves to play catch from the top of the stairs, and watching him do it is just about as cute as you can get. I did not notice it at first because I was in a hurry and it almost initially looks natural, like a "worn" logo. So ,doesn't actually look horrible, just not quite supposed to be like that. Was never washed, but that logo never completely initially adhered to the T-Shirt. Picture included of the faulty logo T-Shirt and other properly printed T-shirt for reference. Workers were pretty helpful. So, of course, inspect your merchandise better than I did before leaving! Other than that, pretty cool store overall. The baby Red-Eared Slider turtles were amazing! Reminded me of years ago when an ex-girlfriend surprised me with a tank of 3 of them for a birthday. If I lived locally, I would have purchased a pair! That's easy, her name is Lorie! Believe me, this young lady sees hundreds of people a day and thousands a week, but she possesses those qualities which are absolutely RARE these days! 1) She has KNOWLEDGE! She's not going to sweet talk you just to make a sale, she is KNOWLEDGEABLE in what she's selling and offering to you! 2) She has, wait for it, an OUTSTANDING PERSONALITY! I mean, she's always smiling and makes you instantly feel important. Not like you're just "another customer"! 3) The best thing about this young lady? She had a HEART OF PURE GOLD! It's so RARE these days to find someone who actually cares and is able to light up a ROOM with the light they carry within them. Lorie is EVERYTHING an employer could wish for in an employee! She is the bomb dot com and she's the absolute JAM, which is so much better than jelly! PS- I live in Georgia and before July 18, 2018 I did not know Lorie or anything about her. I purchased a plastic shark tank along with an aquatic animal from her on that day. I then, on August 6th, 2018, went back to her specific location, to make another purchase! I was advised she wasn't there and wouldn't be back until August 7th around 10am. I left the store and returned at the time we were told she would be there. Not only did she remember me, she then greeted me with a smile and a hug! When I entered, she was cleaning up an egg that had been thrown in the doorway: she was very frustrated but very nice. When I checked out, on the counter, there was a sign that said "no refunds only exchanges with a receipt". I took my purchase, tied it up in the bag, and headed to the convention center next door. When I got back to my hotel room later that night, I opened the bag and there was no receipt. I didn't have a purse, only my phone case, so I didn't have a receipt in there. I then tried on the shirt, and I needed a larger size. The next day (not 24 hours later) I went into the store and explained the situation to the girl with purple hair. All she did was shake her head and point to the sign. I explained there wasn't a receipt in my bag but kept pointing to the sign and shaking her head in a condescending manner, unwilling to accept the fact that she may have failed to give me a receipt. It's not like I was asking for a refund! I understand there is a sign on the counter, but if there is a possibility the problem was on their end and not even use words to speak to me is frustrating. Using her finger to point at the sign and head shake is not the way to communicate with patrons. WILL NEVER COME BACK.
