We visited this Halfords store to look at Child carseats. We were planning to take a look at them and buy one cheaper on the internet. However, the gentleman was so helpful and they had such a good deal on a Maxi Cosy Isofix so we bought one from them. The assistant spent a lot of time with us and really knew his products. They had a lot of choice as well. He fitted the car seat for us and made sure that we knew how to fit it ourselves. There is ample free parking outside this store and it on a retail park alongside Comet, B&Q, Carpetright, Lidl and a bowling alley Overall I would really recommend this store for buying a car seat. Not happy, needed a battery for my sons motorcycle, told him to go on the Gravesend site and do click and collect so we know it's in. We was given an order number and told will be ready In an hour. Seeing as we don't live in Gravesend and knew we'd get the school and works traffic, we waited 30 mins then made our way to the store, on the way a text come through to say their now processing it. I went in the store, the guy couldn't find it, I said maybe I'm a bit early, he printed the receipt out and said no it says it's ready, but it wasn't there, they didn't have any, he said he can order it in for Wednesday...what a waste of time and petrol. This wasn't the first time this has happened either, it happened in the past to my son. Surely they should make sure items are in before giving you your order number. So won't be using the click and collect here again :( read more
