New Park Garage came up in a google search and were very understanding and professional about the situation when I phoned them prior to arrival. Upon arrival at the garage, I found the staff to be very friendly and the garage to be busy, clean and well equiped. The staff listened to what I had to say about the fault on my car and promised to sort it asap. Friday 17th, phone call during the morning informing me that it was an inexpensive job which would cost me approximately £50 and would be ready in an hour. All in all a very positive experience. Admittedly I've never bought a car from this place, nor had my car serviced here, so I can only…read morelegitimately comment on the Petrol Station part of this business, but I think it's worth a comment nonetheless. Having a petrol station in the village is in itself a real asset, but unlike many such places, it's not unfairly priced either in terms of the fuel or the shop. When you consider that there's a Tescos Express open long hours just round the corner, the shop itself is pretty well stocked with more than just essentials plus seasonal stuff such as garden toys and BBQs in the summer. The shop is always spotlessly clean and the staff are helpful and friendly, but a really nice touch is the give a penny, take a penny pot on the counter for those annoying times when you go over by 1p when filling up your car! Great idea.
