After telling her that the window display brought us in to look, she suggested my sister who is 70 may want to put her purse at the front desk. A small shoulder purse big enough to hold only her cell phone and her credit cards. I who am 69 asked her what she was suggesting and she said she guessed if we ripped the whole store off, she could go home for the day. I asked her if we looked like we were there to steal and she said to me "well you are wearing a mask." A medical mask to keep from spreading germs was attached to my face. I am sorry I have ever given Tara's a dime of my money. I love the clothes and have bought from them quite a few times over the last 8 Years. The outfit I was wearing with my backpack Fossel purse cost me well over $500 but that bitch decided we were too poor looking to purchase her clothes or something because we were clean and well put together although my sister was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. Tara's is too proud of their clothing, with high prices on no name brand clothes and now snooty personnel. I will never step in there again and I will also tell any and everyone I meet here in Delta about my experience.

Also, there was a noticeable "musty" odor throughout the store, which made it hard to browse comfortably. Customer service also felt lacking. Upon entering, the owner made eye contact with me while speaking to someone else, but didn't offer a greeting. When he finished his conversation, he immediately greeted another customer instead. Even when I passed him again on my way out, he didn't acknowledge me. A warmer, more inclusive welcome would go a long way for a small business.

Went out for a 1-mile run and had to stop because they caused severe pain in both feet. I went in and asked for an even exchange and not my money back. They told me that their store policy is no returns if the shoe was worn outside. They are brand new shoes and they refused an even exchange for another pair. As you can see on the receipt, it clearly states 14-day return policy. Needless to say, I will never buy from this place again. I've never visited a shoe store with a 1-day no-return policy. I will be shopping in Carbondale's Independence Run and Hike store from now on. They have a reasonable return policy. I should have gone there in the first place. Lesson learned.
