I was introduced to Jess through a wedding venue and from there saw her work for the Oregon Dog Rescue at the annual Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. After liking posting after posting of her images of smiling dogs among the colorful flowers, I knew I wanted her to photograph my dogs as well. I procrastinated until I saw a post that one of the senior dogs she'd photographed passed away just a few days after the images had been delivered to the client. Having an ancient dog myself, I knew I couldn't wait and scheduled our Fuzzy Butt session. Plans to have the dogs groomed prior to our appointment were scrapped when my old dog started to have sleepless nights pacing the room. I contacted Jess to see if we could move up the session and she agreed to come to our house the very next day. Don't worry, a week later and Willow is doing very well now, but I'm so excited to have these photos! Jess is professional, but fun and genuinely loves animals, so with my 3 dogs running all over, she just clicked away and got some amazing candid shots.
