I hired Hale Production to photograph our product line of novelty socks, which needed a "non traditional" feel. Prior to the shoot, they sent a shot list, which gave me their ideas for shots, along with a prop list. Most of them we really liked. For the others that didn't quite capture what we wanted, we let them know, and we collaborated until the shots worked for us. The shots were great, and were what we expected. So creative. Where do I even start with this amazing review? I have recently started my own interior design company and needed a photographer for my very first portfolio shoot and some headshots for my website. There are several reasons why Kirk and Alexis have all 5 star ratings, allow me to briefly share my experience: I contacted Kirk short notice hoping he and Alexis could do a portfolio/physique shoot in a little over a week. Not only did he and Alexis accommodate my short time frame but both Alexis and Kirk blew my expectations away. They immediately got to work and asked me to email them a few pictures of myself, they looked at my Instagram handle in order to do research and find poses/looks that would be appropriate for me. In addition, they gave me a list of clothing to bring that they felt would work best for what I wanted. When the time came for my 2 hour shoot we were able to quickly and comfortably get to work. They had the entire shoot process set up before hand. The end result: -In 2 hours, they produced over 100 photo's for my portfolio (which was much more than our original agreement). -They delivered the pictures to me quickly, before their originally suggested time frame Finally, and most importantly: It was obvious these two knew what they were doing shortly after we started shooting. We hired Kirk and Alexis to take our first set of professional family photos for our holiday cards. Our entire experience with them was phenomenal. We first met them as part of the South Park Walkabout when they were taking free portraits. They were very responsive and collaborative in setting up our shoot. They did a wonderful job of researching varied backdrop locations within a walkable area before the shoot. My husband and I used Kirk and Alexis for our wedding and can't say enough positive things about our experience. We started off with an engagement shoot and right away we were very comfortable with them. It can feel awkward posing in front of a camera but Kirk and Alexis make it feel like you are just hanging out, and it comes through in the photos in a great way! Before the wedding we had gone over shots that we knew we wanted and Kirk/Alexis understood the general "vibe" we were going for. I am the studio manager of a local indoor cycling studio in San Diego called PURE and we hired Kirk and Alexis do our instructor headshots and personality photos...and let me just say...it was absolutely wonderful!! They scouted areas throughout downtown San Diego, sent us a detailed scheduled for the day, had a list of poises for our instructors to do and even came the day before to prep themselves on where they needed to shot in the studio. Kirk and Alexis make a wonderful photography team and are all-around great people. My fiancé and I hired them to take our engagement photos after meeting them at their first South Park Walkabout.
