And that is a good thing. In addition to normal groceries, you'll find the butcher area (carnicería) with mostly Mexican style cuts of meat. And you'll find all kinds of animal parts that aren't common in the meat sections of most grocery stores. I also had a torta (Mexican sandwich) from here, and it was great. They make those in the deli area. All in all, a good grocery store.

The meat section here is better than the one at Harvest (Lep-Re-Kon Harvest), but the store overall is not quite as clean or modern as that one, but it's certainly good. They have an attached restaurant, but we were there too early in the day for it to be open (they were preparing for the lunch opening when we were there). May have to try that next time were in the area. The store is MUCH bigger than it appears to be from the outside. All in all, a good grocery store.

(I do wonder about the broccoli from China??). The cheese and deli area are always fun, and I would have never tried the Sabra Hummus, Caramelized Onion flavor, Lemon flavor, or the Roasted Pine Nut flavor, probably because the other stores do not carry them, but what a treat, I go back just to see the new flavor of hummus they have for the week. Sure, not available all the time, but so fun to find and try oddball items. The interesting cheeses they get in are fun, plus they have their own brand of sliced cheese, swiss, cheddar, provolone, etc. that is just great, and is really affordable.
