Peppered throughout Paris and other large cities, this brand is worth the slightly higher price tag as the items are well constructed and timeless. I walked out of this particular location with two tops that I wear weekly, and always get complimented on. I found the sales girls to be incredibly helpful and sweet. They made recommendations based on the items I had picked up, and helped me figure out the appropriate sizing since my American-to-French ratio wasn't exactly on point. I so wish we had one of these shops in my home city. It's absolutely lovely!

The only disappointment I have is the fact that up until about 10 years ago, much of what you could buy in there was manufactured in France. Now most of their clothing is likely made in China. If you are hoping for high quality shoes that will last a decade, this place is not for you. But if you want some trendy novelty duds that only Paris can deliver, this is your mecca. Their formula is to produce au courant fashion styles at a 30-50 euro price point (or less). When you try the shoes on, you can tell that they are made of cheap materials, but the styles are so damn fun and inexpensive that the quality compromise seems OK. Some additional items to note: What they have out on display is what they have in stock. More popular sizes can disappear quickly, so what may look like a bounty of options at first can be reduced to far fewer selections, once you realize that your size is not available in many styles. Also, they DO NOT do refunds. You can do a store credit towards future purchases, and that's about it. Make your purchases wisely, and look forward to all the comments you'll get from people, saying "Where did you get THOSE?".

If I had all the money in the world, I would spend a shocking amount of it on shoes, clothes, bags,…read moreshoes, and shoes from Lanvin. I've been to this flagship twice and it's one of the most breathtaking stores I've ever seen. The space is larger than it looks on entry, as there are a few floors loaded with goods. The decor is subdued and the store is probably not worth a visit if you're a tourist uninterested in the brand. The service is good and the place is well staffed. There are few Lanvin boutiques in the world, and as this is the only one I've seen, I find it pretty damn special. Everything in it is Lanvin and therefore gorgeous and also shockingly expensive. I get kind of shy even touching the clothes. The shoes are my biggest luxury shopping vice. I adore Lanvin flats and have amassed a few pairs over the years, gifts from my mother bought in Paris where they are marginally cheaper. The shoes are adorable and incredibly easy on the feet. I also love the beautiful heels - less practical, but so stunning. This boutique has an entire wall with individual shoes on display in little box-shaped shelves. There is also a table devoted to every color of ballerina flat shaped in a tantalizing ring. I doubt that I'll ever have the kind of money it takes to enter this store and go on a spree, but it's worth visiting just for the eye candy. It's on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, which is full of top-of-the-line luxury shops, and while the whole stretch is worth a good walk-through, Lanvin is my favorite stop.

This is the sort of hidden gem shop I always hope I'll stumble across in my travels but rarely do. Whilst there I spotted silky star-studded tanks, tiny flower print skirts and plenty of pantaloons. And, amazingly, nothing I bought was over €20! Etern'elle is tiny and isn't much to look at but carries loads of fast fashion at great prices.
