My appointment started with a gentleman doing my pedicure while wearing a see-through glove that had a finger filled with blood. I understand accidents can happen, but it was very uncomfortable to look at while trying to relax during a service. I asked to have another technician assist me, especially since I noticed the salon also provides hair services. The second technician removed my gel polish, but in the process, she also removed layers of my actual toenails. My nails are now extremely thin and damaged, and I expect it will take months for them to fully recover. Because of the condition of my nails, I decided not to have color applied. I was also given what was described as a massage, but the overall experience did not feel relaxing or worth the price. The final cost was $50, which I found very disappointing given the quality of the service and the damage to my nails. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this salon and will not be returning. Trying to add photos of the damage!

They blamed the issue on the manufacturer and did not work with me on a satisfactory resolution. No other spot has this in the area, not even locally run salons. And I would know. Everything is now digital and I'm impressed at the efficiency. It's in the plaza and it's always kept clean. They have higher cleanliness standards than I've ever seen, including a pedi bowl disposable, liner. The staff also is pretty fluent and there's never any language barriers. Prices are just as competitive as other salons. They also reward you for Christmas and your birthday, yet another special thing other nail spots don't do. The staff seems like they are professional.

Twice a lady cut it for me and I was pleased. At my most recent - and last - visit, an older lady cut it. Her hair was bleached, damaged from over-processing, and cut in a traditional 80s style, which made me nervous. I should have trusted my instinct. She gave me a different cut than I asked for, and styled it in a very 80s manner. Normally, I meekly say thank you and leave salons, but I have a new job and I don't want to spend weeks unhappy with my style. No amount of pictures or explaining helped her to understand what I wanted. (It was a simpler cut.) I finally asked if she would please ask Brian or one of the other hairdressers to take a look at it. Brian was working on someone else right next to her and he turned and yelled at me. It wasn't that he told me no and that he was too busy (although he did.) It was his attitude. I had a picture on my device that I'd been showing the stylist and he pointed to it and said, "your problem is you need to get out of THERE, and focus on THERE (pointed to the mirror) because THAT'S the reality!" He was rude. I believe he is the owner of the salon, so it is his job to step in when there is a problem. As I sat there trying not to cry, a different stylist came over and gave the original stylist guidance on how to fix my hair. She was very polite, and I'm grateful for our help. My stylist just kept saying, "I don't know what to do," and "I don't know what you mean." She kept asking me how to cut my hair (techniques, not style preference), and she didn't know where to start my bangs. I can handle a bad cut and still give a salon another chance, but there was no call to yell at me or treat me rudely. I was very polite throughout the process. I think you have to know someone or have an "in" at this salon.

Most expensive and worst haircut I have ever had…read more First visit to only Barber in Keyser, June 6 at 6:00 pm. I gave the man very explicit instructions to just trim hair and beard. The seat does not face mirror so you dont know what he is doing (I should have known then). He did a fine job on the hair, then whippes out an electric cutter and shaves 3 inches! off the beard. He did not listen to a single thing I said to him... While cutting he mentioned that real estate was his focus and this was just a side job. And I would agree, no thought spent on what he was doing, no listening to what I asked for, just cut away. I was so shocked I did not say anything to him immediatly, could not believe what he had done. The office phone is not answered or allow you to leave a message, I have sent two emails requesting a refund, to no reply. It took months to grow, and he just cut it off. Most expensive and worst haircut I have ever had.
