I went into the store to use the ATM and I had some trash. I approached an associate and asked if…read morethey had a trash can, I was holding the trash in one hand and my wallet in the other. My son was standing next to me. Then an associate in a blue outfit and long blond hair rushed over and said no outside trash. The associate who was helping me looked down and repeated no outside trash. I took the trash back with me and placed it on the cart while I conducted my ATM transaction. Then I noticed someone had left a full drink from a 7-11 on top if the ATM. I was irritated by this. When I finished the transaction I walked up to the counter where the associate said no outside trash and let her know that there was a drink on top of the ATM and she might want to take care of that. I was still holding the trash I walked in with in my hand. My son wanted to shop for a small treat there but I told him no. We could shop at another store. If I could give zero stars I would. Please work on your training-customer service so it is consistent. I felt like this was personal because of the discrepancy and like you aren't focused on store upkeep since there was visible outside trash right inside the entrance.

I went in to Crush Nails in Shrewsbury for a Dazzle Dry pedicure as a last resort last week because…read moreall other spa appointments elsewhere were booked for the time frame I needed. I say last resort because, I had visted Crush Nails several times before when it first opened a few years ago (2022) and stopped going because of inexperienced aestheticians who filed my nails down too far; however, everyone then under the original owner was very welcoming and the spa was beautiful inside, very clean and zen like with herbal teas offered, soaps, jewelry, clothing, etc. They were attentive to making the client feel special and a bit pampered. I really liked the vibe and mindset, but not the inexperienced services (3-4) / raw skin on the tops of my toes from filing down too far. This last visit (June 30, 2025), once I walked in, I knew something was further off as the vibe has totally changed: no tea, more cluttered and disorganized throughout the salon, very few clients (1 aside from myself), a chipped/dirty nail sample board, and lack of communication between client and nail tech. When I chose the color/s I wanted for a dazzle dry pedicure, I was told they didn't have those colors... A manager who had significantly better communication skills came over and tried her best to accommodate my color selection, but the colors just weren't there. At that point, I just wanted to leave and settled for a neutral color that I didn't really like as my 1 hr. appointment had turned into 1 hr 40 minutes and the other issues. (Again, all I had for a service was a standard pedicure w/ Dazzle Dry.) I would also agree with the other reviewers that the chairs were quite uncomfortable. Finally, the nail tech did a great job on the nail prep and massage; however, the application of the polish was not acceptable. (See photos below)

I went in for a structure gel manicure earlier this week because the Luminary website listed Crush…read moreas a salon that utilizes their products. I did not see any Luminary products in the salon. My nails were in rough shape after years of acrylics, which is why I opted for a soft gel option. The tech asked if I wanted to do dip instead. Dip is acrylic. It's just applied differently. I'm not sure why she asked when I expressed that I did not want any acrylic product on my nails anymore. What really disappointed me was that none of the implements used were single use. Nor were any of the implements in any sort of disinfectant. The tech just pulled things out of her drawer to use. As a result of these items being used, I now have an infection in one of my nail beds.

I had a corner left left in October 2023. I was left with visible, disfiguring scarring. I the no…read more four times over the past year and a half begging the doctor to treat the scarring. He proceeded to put filler in it, which only made the scarring worse. After four tries, I finally gave up and went elsewhere. I am now paying to have the scars treated, which is a slow painful and expensive process that so far has not worked. When I last left a review, the office responded that they would contact me. That was over six months ago and I have yet to hear a word. I am hoping that this review will prevent at least one person from having a bad experience with this doctor. He is very charming at consultation and not so much when you ask him to correct his mistakes.

From my very first meeting with Lisa, to getting to know the nurses and staff, my entire journey was truly amazing. I hadn't realized how many dynamics go into having a facelift, but the team took the time to educate me beforehand and stayed by my side every step of the way afterward. Everything--from billing to scheduling to communication--was handled seamlessly. Of course, the star of the show was Dr. Fechner. While he is undoubtedly a skilled surgeon, I also believe he is an artist. I am beyond pleased with my results and would highly recommend him for anyone considering plastic surgery. I can still remember, a year ago, wishing it were already a year later--and now here I am, grateful, healed, and so happy with my decision.
