Downtown Gentlemen's Salon is a refreshing experience for anyone looking to get a haircut…read more Lori and newly added Philip are both extremely welcoming and immensely skilled. I have now had my hair done by both and have been equally satisfied. The shop is clean, sleek, and relaxing with continued improvements seemingly every time I come in. For many months I had Lori cutting my hair. She was very knowledgeable about current trends and executed very well. Recently, I stopped in and after selecting a preference for either employee I ended up at Philip's station. I was honestly a bit nervous after having had positive experiences with Lori but Philip was fantastic! He took immense care in what he was doing and I ended up with a great cut and beard trim. I did notice another review claiming high prices and I highly refute that statement. My haircut and beard trim took around 45 minutes and cost me $18 before tip. Extremely reasonable and CHEAPER than chain locations that bust out cuts as fast as they can. I know this establishment has begun the process of getting its liquor license to add a true gentleman salon feel. They have also recently purchased a humidor in hopes of stocking fine cigars (to be consumed off-site). These additions will further my enthusiasm for this establishment.

An Amazing Couples Massage Experience -- 10+ Stars!…read more My wife and I had a couples massage at A Signature Spa in Rutland, VT, today, and the entire experience was absolutely amazing! First, the fact that we were able to book a couples massage online the night before was incredible. These appointments can be difficult to arrange without booking well in advance, especially when you need two massage therapists available at the same time. I honestly couldn't believe we were able to get an appointment, so I called to confirm. Sure enough, they were ready for us exactly as booked! When we arrived, Ashley and Luna greeted us warmly and escorted us to our room. Before starting, they took the time to understand exactly what each of us wanted, asked about any concerns or problem areas, explained the entire process, and made sure we had no questions. We both opted for Swedish massage, which is my personal preference. My wife usually prefers deep tissue but sometimes finds it a little too intense, so she decided to try Swedish as well. My wife had Ashley, and I had Luna. Honestly, this was probably the best massage I've ever had! I'm typically very ticklish when it comes to having my feet massaged, and that part can sometimes be more stressful than relaxing for me. Not this time! Luna got it absolutely perfect. My favorite part, though, was the attention she gave my neck, shoulders, and hands, especially while I was lying on my back. I've been dealing with severe pain in my right shoulder from bursitis for weeks, and I left the spa feeling pain-free. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! My wife thoroughly enjoyed her massage with Ashley and agrees wholeheartedly that the experience was outstanding. We highly recommend A Signature Spa to anyone looking for an exceptional massage experience. And if you have the opportunity, I especially recommend Luna! Thank you, Ashley and Luna, for making our visit so wonderful. We will definitely remember this experience! A 10+ out of 10 in my book!
