At Vintage, they start out with a scalp massage with essential oils before they wash your hair -- a pleasant surprise! Vanessa explained each of the products she put in my hair and was detailed and thorough with the cut. I was so happy that I ended up making my next appointment right there in the salon. Just a heads up: they book quite a few weeks out in advance for Saturdays, which are quite popular. The place is cute and modern, the service great, and it's nice to be able to support a Los Alamos business instead of going to Santa Fe. I would recommend this salon, and Vanessa!

I appreciated her empathy to our timing situation and last minute cancellation/rescheduling. My 8 year old wanted a totally different cut than what she had. Megan helped her find just the right one. :) I liked watching how Megan so easily chatted with Sarah and gave her a beautiful haircut! She really does seem to connect easily with the people in front of her. She does not hold any pretenses and I loved that about her. When I brought my 4 year old in... she unfortunately had gotten this huge knot in her hair and I said I'd cancel and pay her for her time anyway, but Megan tackled the knot instead (despite the reschedule) until her next appointment came in and did it free of charge. I am quite humbled at this point! We rescheduled the next day for a cut. Emma also wanted something much shorter and different. I loved it! My impression of Megan is that she is a really thoughtful and genuine person. She seems a bit quiet on one hand yet she is so easy to talk to, very relateable and is open to conversation. She's really talented and was able to answer multiple questions of mine and offer suggestions and products I had not thought of. I appreciated that she showed a lot of empathy to all of the timing changes due to our move - especially because she certainly didn't have to! She chatted so easily with me and then with the girls on their level. My 8 year old has already asked to go back to her next time!

I have gone twice now and had an AMAZING experience with Brittany Hatch both times. The first time was for a blowout. I have SUPER long, thick hair. She was able to take care of me with a double wash, condition, blowout and roundbrush within the hour allotted time - this has literally NEVER happened anywhere else for me. They ALWAYS run out of time. The second time was for color. I normally do a coppery red, but hadn't had it done since COVID started - so about three years ago. She did an amazing job using my reference pictures and using innovative techniques (almost a reverse balayage thing?) to leave out some of my lighter pieces that I already liked the color of. She used three different colors and glosses to give me dimension. I was out within three hours with a beautiful blowout. I will keep coming back and seeing Brittany again and again - the pictures speak for themselves.
