The atmosphere at Headliners is always positive and uplifting, which makes for good conversation. Although most of the barbers work by appointment they always try to accommodate the customers and they do welcome walk-Ins during certain times. So some times the hours change from one week to the next and I have been by several times when he is at lunch. BUT......things have changed for the GOOD!!! Another chair was added and a very experienced stylist was brought in! Happy Day!! Chrystal ( how she spells her name ) Cretin was trained at one of those fancy places a Place run by a guy named Paul Mitchell I think he has a shampoo or something so you know he has to know what he is doing... He appreciates me as a client and really goes above and beyond with customer service. He also does a great job on the styling and cuts for my 5 year old son. Since I always have my 5 year old son with me I appreciate the "no profanity" policy they have posted all over the shop.

I stopped by NY2QC Kutz specifically for a hot shave, which is listed on their menu of services…read more Before waiting, I also confirmed with one of the barbers that they offered the service and accepted walk-ins. He was friendly and welcoming. After waiting about 20 minutes, the barber I had initially spoken with told me that the person who would be doing my shave had just arrived and was parking his car. Unfortunately, once we got started, it quickly became apparent that he was not familiar with the equipment or setup in the shop. That should have been my cue to stop the service. I proceeded with the shave and ended up with multiple cuts on my head and face. Eventually, part of the shave was completed with an electric shaver rather than as the hot shave I had requested. At that point, I was disappointed and simply wanted the experience to be over. The staff member I initially spoke with was friendly, so I don't want to characterize the entire shop based on one interaction. However, based on my experience, I would not recommend NY2QC Kutz for a hot shave of the head and face. If a service is advertised and confirmed before a customer sits down, the barber performing it should be experienced and comfortable providing that service safely.
