Read these other clowns reviews with a grain of salt. If you take scrap computer to a scrapyard and expect to get rich you're fooling yourself. You're going to need a truckload to make 20 bucks. These one stop scrappers do not know the scrap business. Haggerty medals does know the scrap business and it's always fair! I have been going to have any medals for decades. I can go anywhere I want in the city because my family knows it every single scrap business. I prefer to go to Haggerty metals it's not always just location. An employee who claimed to be the owners son was the biggest jerk I have encountered in a long time. I was at their gate 7 minutes before their posted closing time of 4:45. Full on attitude he told me I was too late. After an argument he reluctantly let me in acting like I was an inconvenience to him. I gave a two star rating only because their other employee who checked me out was great and the polar opposite of junior. Beware of junior! read more

I wish there was a zero star for this place. Took 3 calls in a month to have a roll off dropped at my business. Filled with steel, stainless, and aluminum. When we received our check and summary, they weighed the whole thing as mild steel. I called and asked "Wtf?" And said we had aluminum as well (didn't bother with the stainless since I didn't previously weigh it like I did with the alum.) Anyway, the guy was argumentative and finally said fine I'll get you the alum check as well, but how is this place even open? Bunch of scammers. I will never use this business again. I decided to go here because I read on Google that they pay you a fair amount for your scrap. I had a good 150lbs+ of very old computer cases that I took here, along with a few circuit boards from the early 1990s (they used gold back in the day for cpu's - which I had) and ended up leaving with a measly $1.05. When you get there they have you put your scrap on the dolly and then onto their machine that weighs it all. I told the guy who was working this that I had some unique stuff. He didn't even give a crap to look and seemed real obnoxious to me. When I first called, the lady on the phone said that they would take a look and evaluate what I have, but this didn't happen. He asked me for my ID while it was being weighed, so I had to go back to my car and get it. By the time I returned, it was already weighed and he told me I would get $1.05, what a rip off. I should of demanded my stuff back, but another guy working there who reeked strongly of nicotine already took the stuff somewhere. I said forget it at that point, it already took enough time hauling everything over to them. So fast forward a bit and I find out from a friend that does electronics recycling for a living that I was ripped off by them. read more
