I hired Mr. Kay for my divorce. On the first call he explained the whole process of what was going…read moreto happen from start to finish for both avenues depending on how my ex and I went about it. Throughout the whole process I was kept up to date on everything that was happening on our end and on the other end. Anything that was needed was brought to my attention and anything I did not understand was broke down into detail so there was no questions regarding what was on the papers. The value of the service was beyond anything I expected. I figured it would be more like this is what we are doing and then I'd get the papers and told yea or no and go on from there. That was not the case. Jenna would reach out to me pretty much weekly letting me know what was happening and what we were waiting on and what was going to be the next step. If anyone were to ask me for a recommendation for an attorney Mr. Kay's firm would be the first and only one I would say.

After contacting Mark I found he was exactly what several friends of mine (all attorneys, but none of them tax attorneys) told me I should look for in an attorney; someone young enough to still be motivated (not some old stodgy guy in a wrinkled suit, coasting into retirement), yet experienced (preferably with IRS or DOJ experience), and someone not a part of a 'big name' firm (read:outrageously expensive.) Mark is all of these. He knew exactly what to do, and in the end talked me into a strategy that would actually save me money, vs. a different strategy that would have made him a lot of money. Definitely had my interest at heart. He's not cheap, but he's definitely a great value.
