My 10 year was having a severe allergic reaction in the park so ran over to the surgery and was turned away by a receptionist. She didn't even acknowledge us as was busy with paperwork then when did notice said she's busy currently. I informed her that my daughter was having an allergic reaction(this was quite clear as her lips were extremely swollen and she was dribbling and couldn't talk). the receptionist said that they were no appointments and said to go the pharmacy. As a medical professional myself who works in a GP surgery aswell as out of hours I know fully well that if a patient came in with a severe allergic reaction, they would not be turned away. Disgusting behaviour. my daughter was promptly treated by a lovely doctor in A+E who also couldn't believe my daughter wasn't looked at by a clinician. read more

I moved to this GP's practice last year and I cannot fault them - they are so polite and will always get you an appointment if it's an emergency. You can book on the phone with their automated system and then on arival you can check yourself in with the touch screen - its all very modern! The doctors are nice and very patient (excuse the pun!!) and the nurses are lovely too. They have late night opening a couple of days a week - which is great for people who work full time but still need to see a doctor. Ample parking and very easy to get to. read more
