If you are looking for a holistic community in southwest Michigan, this is your place. As a mom who…read moreis seeking the best holistic care for my children, I am so thankful I found Dr. Tara and Dr. Mel and the fully alive family. After intake for our kids, my husband and I were so impressed we signed up the whole family. They were encouraging and observant and helped us feel like our family could grow and heal together. After 1 week, our 2yo unlocked fine motor skills he previously didn't have. After 3months, one of his feet was no longer turning in, he has better emotional regulation, concentration, and potty awareness. Our baby LOVES being adjusted. Their style is so gentle and welcoming of kids and lets kids lead. It's been amazing to watch both of my children open up and be excited to go to the chiropractor. My husband and I are slower to heal, but still are seeing massive benefits. I've seen emotional release along with physical. Pain from my epidural 3 years ago is gone, headaches are lessened, my energy is calmer, i could go on. But beyond that, I feel loved and cared for. We are encouraged as parents and guided in such a needed way. Dr. Tara will pray with and over me and I believe that takes the healing one step further! Our family goes together and Stephanie and Suzanne will play with our children so we can focus on breathing, relaxing and healing. It's something I look forward to despite the 35 minute drive! I've been seeing chiropractors for 20 years, all of which have had similar approaches. I was apprehensive that this extremely gentle tonal technique would be as effective as a good twist and crack. I am so wrong! Often times I'd leave other chiropractors in as much pain as when I went in due to the amount of guarding my body would do against an adjustment. Dr. Tara and Dr. Mel do something unlike anything I've ever experienced and I cannot recommend it enough!
