I immediately noticed how clean the salon was and my appointment started on time. I got a gel pedicure and manicure and they were done within an hour. I came in for a liquid gel refill at Tipsy Nail Bar, and it was honestly the worst mistake. My previous liquid gel set--done at a different salon--lasted 5 weeks with zero issues: no lifting, no cracks, nothing. I only decided to try Tipsy because it was much closer to where I live. Exactly 7 days later, one of my nails lifted almost completely from the back. I reached out, and they did agree to repair it at no cost, which I appreciated. However, they mentioned: "Sometimes gel color doesn't bond as well when it comes into contact with the natural oils on the nail. This can happen even with proper prep." I went back in, had the nail fixed, and the technician checked the rest and said everything looked fine. Then the very next morning, another nail lifted from the back almost completely. This time it ripped my natural nail underneath, and I had to remove it at home. For $75, this service was absolutely not worth it. I don't mind paying for expensive nail services--but I do expect them to actually last longer than a week, especially when my previous set had no issues at all. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Cindy also fixed an ingrown nail that even the podiatrist could not fix a few month ago. I also like that they don't do acrylic nails in the salon because the smell of the chemicals always gives me a headache. They have fantastic massage chairs too. I wish I had one at home.
