Then, they wanted me to sign a waiver stating if they broke stuff in my home...I would just have to eat it. Luckily for me, I ended up giving the bed set to a neighbor who was extremely appreciative. I'm done with these Habitat pick up service. They make it so hard to give them good stuff.

It's loaded with various clothes and shoes for all ages and sizes, household items, books, and Christmas/seasonal items as well! The person who heads up the store is fabulous, and so kind! All the staff members were very helpful, and want to see you leave with exactly what your looking for. If you go here, ask for Sheila and avoid Helen at all cost. The shop is small but packed full of clothing. A little pricy but they do serve familys in need. It's a real shame if a needy family has to suffer through Helen's bad attitude to get assistance.

A school social worker puts in a request and Note in the Pocket takes care of the rest and delivers the clothing to the school. Note in the Pocket takes donations of gently used clothing. These are then sorted, processed to make sure the clothing meets the quality for these students. They even have an Amazon wishlist. For the last ten years there has been a Socks & Undies 5K Fun Run (or walk). They want to clothe 10,000 children in 2023. There is a virtual run for those that cannot go in person. Note in the Pocket has been a rewarding place to volunteer and donate as they are doing good one child at a time.

This seemed like a great way to help care for a pony while giving my mom the opportunity to visit if desired. While in town visiting from California, I thought it would be fun to bring my mom out to visit. While she may not have enjoyed herself as much as I had expected (I'll blame her age and recent surgery), I had a blast and was not disappointed. Alex was engaging and kind, and was clearly very passionate about all the animals in her care. She was excited to share about all of the animals, not just the one we sponsor, and I was just as excited to learn some of their stories and see the care that goes into each animal. Alex even gave us the opportunity to brush Blaze and share some treats, and it made for some great memories with my mom and sister. Alex, thank you for taking the time out of your Saturday to show us around and make our visit a memorable experience. It was such a pleasure to meet you, Blaze, and the other animals.
